5.0 out of 5 stars Exactly what I wanted, 29 Jun. 2013

This review is from: My Writing Spot (App)
This app is wonderful, you can create documents and write, then you can email the document to a computer to continue using it. You can create as many documents as you like and can colour code them, if you have quite a few.

I like the kindle fire as you can form words by drawing lines to letters rather than touching each individual letter.

The app does use an American dictionary so it will occasionally tell you a word is incorrect but then you can just add it to the dictionary.

3.0 out of 5 stars Good compact keyboard for a smart TV., 17 Jan. 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
We bought this to use when accessing Internet on our Smart TV, as it was too clunky to use the TV remote and on-screen keyboard. Its transmitter sits in one of the TV's USB ports; the keyboard, itself, is USB rechargeable. It does the job - not perfect, but that's the fault of the TV rather than the mini-keyboard. We think of it as another remote control as it is not much bigger than one. It required no set-up.

5.0 out of 5 stars Lovely book to inspire any historically minded young person., 17 Jan. 2013

This review is from: Young Lions Roar (Kindle Edition)
This book is a combination of fact and fiction. It is set in sleepy England during the Second World War. This is about how the war affects the young heroes. The big difference between a historical novel and this one is that the Germans have actually successfully landed in Blighty and the young lions are an English Resistance.

4.0 out of 5 stars If your singing teacher uses this book, you need to get it!, 17 Jan. 2013

This contains all the exam pieces for the current season. The CDs are very useful to know what the songs are meant to sound like, and to provide a piano accompaniment.

An easy book for a motivated student to work through for independent school written entrance exams (not verbal and non-verbal reasoning).

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Grisham but also with a clear social voice, 17 Jan. 2013

This review is from: The Street Lawyer (Kindle Edition)
This book is typical Grisham cynicism towards the legal profession. The story he tells about homelessness in DC (which extends to anywhere) is very thought-provoking. The twist at the end sets an example to all.
