1.0 out of 5 stars One of the worst games ever, 8 Jan. 2016
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Next to no content in the game, 500+ laser shots to try to kill someone only to get killed by 2 laser shots from a pistol, campers, underpowered weapons, useless flying mechanic, non existent campaign, inviting people is a hassle. A complete waste of money, getting a full refund for this crap

5.0 out of 5 stars The best since MW2, 25 Dec. 2015
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
In my opinion, this is the best COD game since MW2. What keeps me coming back is the multiplayer, and I bought the season pass for the first time since BO2 coincidentally. The campaign is very much hit and miss, still entertaining, but the plotline is stupid and convoluted, and the AI is pretty awful, and has been since last years version when they all turned retarded for some reason. I haven't played much of zombies but I always love playing it, the multi just has me hooked, its fast, fluid, and even has anti camping measures now with a recent patch, sit still for 30+ seconds and you're kicked out the match. Well worth getting this if you're a rusher, all you campers can click this review is unhelpful and add your 1 star reviews now. Everyone else, buy it.

2.0 out of 5 stars Sound in left ear is failing after 2 1/2 months, 4 Dec. 2015
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Now I know why these headphones are only £20, the sound in the left headphone is a lot quieter compared to the right now, it does work but it sounds odd now with both in, right headphone still works fine. Bear that in mind if you're thinking of buying these because they're only a temporary solution, you'll get about 2 months out of these headphones.

1.0 out of 5 stars Doesn't fit my Z97 motherboard, 3 Nov. 2015
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Ordered this expecting it to fit my Z97 Gaming 3 motherboard, and the standoff screws are too close so won't fit on anywhere, and it won't fit in with the Corsair power supply inside either

3.0 out of 5 stars Still has its frustrations, 25 Oct. 2015
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: FIFA 16 (PS4) (Video Game)
Having had time with this game, I've now rectified the review score to 3/5, or rather 3.5/5. I've played it extensively, and its better than I originally thought, but there are still a lot of frustrations that we shouldn't have to cope with which I'll list. I've grown to accept that this game is now a fast arcade style game, if you're looking for a football sim this isn't it and neither is pro evo with the strange turning mechanics on that game. The passing is too fast and accurate, and the AI at times plays like Barcelona with their passing. They've rectified some of these issues in recent patches hence why I'm being more favourable now, they've made it feel a lot better than it was which used to be a big frustration. The online connections are still patchy, with the same lag seen in previous games for about 5 years now, theres really no excuse for this anymore. Some games are lag free, others are slideshows. Anyway, the game is much improved upon now, but still far from perfect. Worth getting for £20 or less.

ORIGINAL REVIEW - This is the worst FIFA in at least 4 years, I play career mode most of the time, and the AI teams all play exactly the same way, like Barcelona, fast 100% accurate passing, all across the pitch, regardless of the league you're in. I'm getting barcelona type opponents in the Championship, how is this acceptable? Its as if the developer has thrown a load of numbers together in the game code, first time developers fresh out of Uni at that, said 'yep that looks good enough' and then shipped the game worldwide, its an absolute embarrassment. Opponents track and stick to you like a cement filled sandwich, with no room for manoeuvres, making you pass side to side until the AI decides to let you have a chance before it steals the ball, breaks up the pitch playing one touch passes, walks around your defence and scores. This is the least fun I've EVER had on a FIFA game, I've been buying them on PS3 and PS4 since FIFA 08, and this is likely the worst version of FIFA in all this time. There is absolutely no difference in opponents, every single AI team plays the same, thats bad development.

Online the game remains the same, bad AI teammates not tracking the opponent, goalkeepers with gloves covered in butter, corners next to impossible to score from because the goalkeepers punch the ball out every single time, and also the corners are shambolic this year, very difficult to just get a good curling cross in without it flying either over the heads of your players or straight to the opposition. The world class players are still far too overpriced in ultimate team as well.

All in all this is an unacceptable entry in the FIFA series, and will make me think long and hard about buying another FIFA game, save your money.

4.0 out of 5 stars Excellent game, but lacking in overall content, 22 Sept. 2015
First off I've been a MGS fan since 1999 when the game released in the UK, I've followed the entire storyline through primary school, secondary school, sixth form, Uni and work, and have loved every second of it so far. This game was marketed as being different in the trailers that were released in 2013 and 2014, and it looked amazing. However go back to around April or May this year and you have the infamous Kojima Konami falling out, which I can almost guarantee resulted in a rush rewriting of the plot, and removal of at least a 1/4 of the game including key plot points that are missing in the final version. What we are left with is an incomplete storyline, and a different type of open world gameplay, people are saying it doesn't feel like MGS at all and I partly agree.

For what there is in the game, there is a lot to do, to a point. Theres 50 main story missions, or rather about 36 or 37 main missions with 13 revised missions with a different difficulty. Theres 150 side ops which don't take too long to complete with the right gear, and we will have the online component next month. For me each side op takes about 10 minutes to complete, so there is a lot of playtime there, but for fans you will just lap this up and tear through a good 10-20 of them a day not including main ops. When you've done the main storyline and most of the side ops as I have, what you're left with as a single player component is a grindfest getting resources to continue building your base, and a staff management game getting better staff and firing inferior staff over and over again. How much replayability there is there remains to be seen, when the missions and side ops are done and dusted, I think almost everyone will migrate to online which will be full of the usual sleazebags and cheats. The real challenge I think will be getting the S rank on every mission, and ideally doing it total stealth where possible, no shots fired no-one tranquilised no alerts etc. Again its based on repetition though.

I'll continue to play it and will be keeping the game as a fan of the series, but this could and should have been so much better than it was. That was probably partly our fault for following every trailer and getting hyped for what was touted to be one of the best games ever, it falls s
ightly short but is still worth buying. Just be prepared to grind after you've done the storyline.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent finale for Jack Bauer, 22 Sept. 2015
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
For a finale to one of tvs best action heroes, it was a bittersweet ending. The rest of the series was breakneck and full of action, and was an excellent final series for Bauer. The smaller format of the show helped speed things along while still maintaining a credible plotline without skipping much other than filler dialogue to pad out episodes in previous series. By now I think most fans will have seen it, and those who never watched 24 before won't have bothered by this point, but regardless there are spoilers ahead for the ending of the show.

When the russians were waiting for jack to walk to them in exchange for chloe being set free, that moment was one of the most powerful in the whole series so far, knowing how much those 2 went through over the course of the show, and it ending in basically a wild west moment of 2 people walking towards and past each other. We're never likely to see jack bauer again, especially when kiefer himself said in an interview he can't see himself returning to the series again, and reports of Fox gearing up to start shooting a bauerless 24 next year, mfocusing on a ehole. ew cast of characters instead. I think it would have still been fun to see tony almeida come into the fray properly for season 9/10 however you view the live another day series, especially when we saw in the bluray extra he was given an escape route from his maximum security prison by form of a map and guard routes in a pair of glasses by a lawyer.

Overall it was an excellent series full of standout moments, the rampage jack went on near the end and the final showdown fight scene, the scene with the president walking onto the wembley pitch, the bust out of the cia hq, the eacape from the drone firing from the sky etc. I just wish it has one more series with bauer, to give him the sendoff he deserves. Maybe a huge paycheque will tempt sutherland back for the new season.

5.0 out of 5 stars More informative than definitive, 22 Sept. 2015
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Why are people saying this guide is bad when there are so many variables to this game? Plus the game itself isn't exactly difficult to play once you've got used to the open world mechanics. You have no idea if the enemies will be wearing bulletproof helmets or armour or night vision goggles if you do too many night time infiltrations, or planting minefields, they mention it is near impossible to cater to everyone in that regard. It gives you the points you need to be aware of, and then lets you carry out that task.

Have to say the lithograph is excellent, as is the art gallery near the back, and the storyline wraps the whole series up for those who beat TPP and struggled to understand most of it apart from the biggest parts. It even tells us how the Cobra unit from MGS3 got their powers. Its a no brainer to buy this version of the guide for long term fans like myself.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent mic, 22 Sept. 2015
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Genuinely excellent for the price, its cheap and you can hear everyone clearly and be heard clearly too, I bought it mainly for Destiny and I'm clearly heard through my mumbling. A tip though, better turn up your volume settings in the ps4 system settings otherwise it might sound too quiet to you, this was my mistake for a while, then I looked in the settings and then everyone was nice and loud on the mic after.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent quality, #1 for a reason, 22 Sept. 2015
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This is the first HD monitor I've had for pc, I made the decision because of wanting to upgrade my 4 year old pc to something more modern capable of running Fallout 4, Doom 4 next year etc. It took me a while to set up but when you get the right input, the sharpness is excellent, and you can use the buttons on the right to adjust everything else to your liking. Theres a reason its number 1 in the monitors, its inexpensive, it looks great and is a great starting point for those looking to upgrade their pcs.
