5.0 out of 5 stars Very Impressed, 17 Jan 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Price: Based on CPU benchmarks (google it) this CPU has one of the best CPU/Price ratio's on the market. 5/5

Performance: Fantastic performance for the price. It's incredibly cool and able to run serious games at decent quality. To give you an idea, running League of Legends full quality, Chrome 5+ tabs (we know how demanding on the CPU Chrome can be), Spotify AND skype, i only hit 50% CPU usage on occasional spikes - The best thing is that according to "Core Temp" program, my core has not reached above 40 C degrees. Even at 60/70% load, that is very impressive. (With the same heatsink fan I used on my old CPU, and that CPU used to hit 70C+ if I was running too much).

Make sure you check that you have the right socket (1150) and that your motherboard is compatible, or you are wasting your money!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great piece of kit!, 17 Jan 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Price: Decent considering its specs, not many other boards give you as much bang for your buck.

Installation: Note this is a mini-atx board, or at least its small! So make sure you have the right case for fitting the board (or have the know-how in changing a few screws). Overall quite simply to install.

Performance, so far excellent. The Asus boot up menu is fantastic, and the little perks you can download to monitor various components is nifty. Also a very sturdy board, easily taking a very heavy heat sink fan.

Problems: Only one very minor thing, the backpanel USB/Jack cover didn't want to click into place, so I abandoned even putting it on. Quite a strange design on that - But maybe it was just me being stupid!
