1.0 out of 5 stars Don't even think about it, 21 Aug. 2012
I am on my second one of these. The first one broke down after a year and could't be repaired. The replacement is just over two years old, so no longer under warranty and it has gone wrong. I have just had to throw away a fridge full of fresh produce as the fridge has decided to freeze it all. Googling reveals no end of issues with the RS models and whilst they are sending out an engineer as a free goodwill gesture, I reeally wish I had never bought the wretched thing.

LeapFrog Fridge Phonics Magnetic Alphabet Set
LeapFrog Fridge Phonics Magnetic Alphabet Set

4.0 out of 5 stars Nice idea but shortcomings, 21 May 2009
Just to answer one of the questions asked, my set were lowercase. Not the most sensible picture showing the letter s!

All in all a nice little product, 2yo daughter seems very interested. But "s says sh" and "c says cuh and sh" - the speaker is way too muffly making a "ss" sound much more like "sh" and I think that is going to be a bit confusing.

1.0 out of 5 stars Don't bother, 15 Nov. 2008
The non stick coating is not non stick and not only that, it comes off on your roast tatties. Spend more and get a decent make that will do as it says.

5.0 out of 5 stars This is the proper version!!, 15 Nov. 2008
This review is from: Annie [DVD] (DVD)
After reading other reviews slating this film for a less exciting ending and having missing songs.... please read up on the history of this musical. It is a stage production and this Disney version stays very true to the stage musical and score. There are still omissions, in particular the Herbert Hoover song by the homeless people and also the Tomorrow song in the White House. But in the main it is a much more realistic adaptation than the Aileen Quinn 1981 film which just changed huge chunks and added songs (like the hideous Let's Go to the Movies sequence instead of the much more captivating NYC). How anyone can prefer the 1981 version is beyond me, the characters of Annie, Grace and Warbucks are so much more likeable in this one and Kathy Bates is believable as Miss Hannigan (although I do feel that Carol Burnett's MH was the saving grace of the 1981 film). Where Grace sings Tomorrow to Annie to comfort her after her "parents" have turned up for her is extremely touching and it is easy to engage with the characters. Definitely give this movie a try, it is lovely.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good for beginners, 12 Feb. 2008
Bought this for my stepson who has found it easy to use and has produced some good results. Again, unlike the previous reviewer who gave it one star, it has recognised our two SD cards with no problem. A nice little camera.

1.0 out of 5 stars Given up after 2 dodgy pushchairs, 22 Jan. 2008
It's certainly a nice looking buggy but there is a problem with the front wheels as they don't make enough contact with the ground. This means that the wheels don't swivel properly and the steering is therefore non existent so you end up heaving the pushchair round corners. Not so bad outdoors on uneven pavements etc, but an absolute nightmare in the shopping centre on smooth floors. I sent one back thinking it must be a one off, but the second one had exactly the same fault so that's gone back too. Surely it can't be a coincidence.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent calming cd, 2 Jan. 2008
My 14 month daughter absolutely adores this programme and received this cd for christmas. She is, and has always been, a difficult sleeper and is often hard to settle in her cot. When I play this cd she visibly calms down and it stops her crying almost instantly. A blessing for stressed mums and dads everywhere... and it isn't even that annoying to have to listen to either! Although come back and ask me that in a couple of months time and I might have changed my mind by then.

5.0 out of 5 stars A must have gift for ITNG fans, 5 Nov. 2007
= Durability:5.0 out of 5 stars  = Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars  = Educational:2.0 out of 5 stars
There's going to be a huge shortage of all things In the Night Garden this christmas as it's a lovely show with characters that really capture the imagination of little ones. My daughter is only just one and her face lights up whenever she sees Iggle Piggle. This toy dances, blinks and sings/speaks (not too sure why it has 18m+ age range suggestion as she seems to love it and there are no small parts). When he sings the Iggle Piggle song she gets up and dances every time! By the way, Toys r us currently have them at £29.99 and they have stock as of the beginning of November.

5.0 out of 5 stars What a lovely little book, 29 Oct. 2007
This review is from: Peepo Baby! (Board book)
My one year old's favourite, it's the perfect size for her to hold, nice chunky flaps that don't tear, 5 different scenes including bathtime and lastly bedtime... ends up with the rhyme "sleepy baby, tuck you up tight, cuddle up bunny, say goodnight", so is very appropriate for a bedtime read. It really is very sweet.

4.0 out of 5 stars Possibly a bit big for a one year old, 29 Oct. 2007
Bought this for my daughter's first birthday and her legs are too short. She's been walking for a couple of months and is pretty nimble, but when she's on the zebra she can't touch the ground unless she shifts over to one side so one foot can reach. Then she isn't balanced enough to get it to bounce properly. At the moment we are sitting her on it and holding her wrists while we bounce her to keep her central. I reckon in 3 or 4 months she'll be a better size for it. From the look on her face when we bounce her, I can see she's going to love it!!
