Refilit Maximum Strength Filling Material, Cherry Flavor - 1 Each
Refilit Maximum Strength Filling Material, Cherry Flavor - 1 Each
Offered by KrystalDirect
Price: £3.87

5.0 out of 5 stars Short term emergency use only, 6 May 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This product is infinitely more pleasant to use than the usual temporary short term use filling stuff that smells of cloves and stings the mouth.
Refilit has a nice cherry flavour, doesn't involve applying stinging or strong smelling liquids and is easily moulded/rolled into a ball and pressed into the cavity or area where the filling dropped out and will stop any pain at least until you can get to a dentist.
Always follow the instructions, use clean hands when applying it. See your dentist as soon as you can.

5.0 out of 5 stars DIY dentistry, 6 May 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Used this to replace and strengthen a missing filling and a cracked tooth while on holiday away from any dentists.
Did the job. Followed the instructions completely, and so far the tooth and filling have stayed put, pain-free for several months so far.
Just make sure you follow the instructions 'to the letter'! Also wash your hands first, clean your teeth or at the very least try not to eat for several hours before using this as you do NOT want to leave trapped food in a cavity with this filling material over the top of it sealing it in. So cleanliness at all times! Can't reiterate that enough!

Technically this product should be treated as an emergency dental repair material that lasts a whole lot longer than the typical emergency filling products that most supermarkets and chemists sell. Having said that, the actual resin/glassbead nano-material is used to rebuild broken teeth, white fillings etc and is seriously tough when used correctly. So as I said before - follow the instructions to the letter and you should be fine.

5.0 out of 5 stars Proper pop-corn movie, 6 May 2014

What's not to like - Kurt Russell as the reluctant government intelligence analyst, David Suchet as the bad guy and Halle Berry. Throw in an audacious mid-air rescue plan, Steven Segal in a brief role and some great action set pieces and you're in for a rollercoaster thrill ride and all in the claustrophobic confines of a Boeing 747.

4.0 out of 5 stars Star Trek LCARS datapad - fun for fans of the shows., 6 May 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: LCARS Terminal (App)
I've wanted a real LCARS data pad for years. The irony is that many of the interface devices depicted in Star Trek the Next Generation, Deep Space Nine and Star Trek Voyager have come true - especially datapads/tablets etc. This app should satisfy fans of the franchise with decent real sampled STTNG sound effects and static graphics. Just a shame no one's thought of incorporating the LCARS fonts/design/layout with real video interface and touch screen usefulness. I guess it's just a matter of time...
''Make it so...!''

5.0 out of 5 stars Ideal for Mi-Fi, 6 May 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I bought this to go in my TP-Link M5350 portable wifi hotspot (mi-fi) unit. Easy to use - popped the full size SIM card into the mifi, let it do it's thing, fired up my ASUS 7 in HD tablet and was online and surfing within few minutes. 3 Gb should last full 3 months if just checking emails, websites etc but streaming videos and music will reduce this quite a bit.

Great bit of kit, solidly made - perfect for fitting external monitors, lights etc on your DSLR or video-camera rig.
Build quality is good and the clamps and locking joints all work well under load.

5.0 out of 5 stars Batteries for the Aputure VS-1 V-Screen monitor., 6 May 2014

Though not Sony batteries, these good quality Sony-type versions do the job. It means I can power my Aputure external monitor on battery alone for several hours if 'in the field'. Comes with charger etc.

5.0 out of 5 stars Superb quality., 6 May 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Been looking around for a remote monitor for my video cameras (Canon HV20's) for some time and after some careful research on Amazon and Youtube, I decided on this and haven't regretted it. The build quality is solid, it feels like a proper monitor and not some plasticky five minute wonder like some I could mention.
As a videographer and blogger/vlogger, I needed an external monitor as most DSLR and video camera monitors/displays are woefully inadequate - especially in bright light - plus they suck on the batteries like you wouldn't believe. This monitor has the ability to use mains electric via adaptor or rechargeable battery pack which should be noted isn't included. I won't bore you with the tech specs as it would mean a review running to several pages. All you need to know is that it has some of the features of high-end professional monitors.
Please remember it isn't a high-end professional tv monitor since they cost thousands but it certainly 'punches above its weight'. This one though technically not HD, it can input SD and HD signals via HDMI socket or traditional inputs. You can also mirror or invert the image or display as 4:3, full frame or 16:9. In otherwords this is perfect for you keen youtubers, vloggers, semi-pros, film students etc. Actually I recently spotted the same monitor being used on a professional film shoot.
The size means it's a whole lot easier to accurately set up your camera - even more so if you're using a passive or active Depth Of Field Adaptor on your video rig since a lot of DoF units invert the image which means you need some way of flipping it up the right way. This monitor can do that. It has zebra settings for lighting and colour checks so you can set up the shoot like a pro.
Almost forgot - it comes with a fold up sun shade. Full size HDMI socket is input only which considering it's an external monitor, is perfectly adequate. If you need a monitor with both HDMI input and output then you're going to be going up several levels to much more expensive monitors. I'd rather have a better quality monitor with simple HDMI input than a cheaper one with all the bells and whistles. At the end of the day - especially in videography - quality rules - not quantity.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very useful bit of kit, 6 May 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Bought this due to working at a location that doesn't have Wi-Fi access plus as a blogger, I can't always get to a computer or normal wifi hotspot.
Before it turned up I was envisioning all sorts of complex procedures that had to be carried out before I could use it but no - I followed the simple instructions, inserted the full size mobile broadband SIM card (purchased separately), switched it on and then let my ASUS 7 inch HD tablet to search for the wi-fi signal. It found it instantly and after I filled in the password I was online and surfing, checking emails etc. My ASUS tablet lacks a SIM card socket but it does have WiFi so this Mi-fi unit is ideal. Not only is the TP-Link compact but the battery life has proved to be very long (haven't charged it yet and I've been using it on and off for just over a week now) and the signal strength is superb according to my wi-fi signal analysis app. Basically this device is a mobile wifi hotspot via broadband mobile phone signal. So as long as you can get a phone signal then you can get wifi anywhere.
Aesthetically it's a delight. Almost water-worn pebble-like with rounded corners and quite solid due to the big battery inside which is basically a mobile phone type battery which can be charged via computer USB or dedicated plug socket. A simple black and display lets you check the signal strength etc. I bought the 3 network 3 gig broadband SIM at the same time and it should last 3 months but that will vary according to useage in otherword if you stream a lot of HD video or music then it will last a lot less but for emailing, going on social networking sites etc it should easily last the 3 months.
At the end of the 3 month SIM card, I'll either get another 3 Network or shop around. Note: you can use a micro SIM but you will need an adaptor.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great editing software, 17 Jan 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
For those who've been using Windows movie maker for years this might seem to be a complex editing software with a mind-bogglingly vast array of options and features. Well, I've now used this for couple of years and wouldn't go back to Windows moviemaker now.
You'll find this quite familiar since it uses similar features to movie maker but with far more options to render and convert, add effects etc. Unlike movie maker you can have multiple video and audio tracks, there's a ton of filters, effects, text fonts, text animations and a thriving forum with many more add-on effects filters which can be added later.

Please note; editing HD footage will strain your system. I would say at the very least you should have as a minimum a 64 bit Windows 7 and i5 or i7 with minimum of 6 Gb RAM and a decent separate graphics card. For real world results I use a 2005 Dell Inspiron 6000 laptop with 1.6ghz processor and 2Gb RAM. I handles standard definition okay 640x480 and at a push 720p but not a snowball's chance in hell of handling full 1080x1920 HD no matter what the codec, container or format. So only get this or the newer versions if your computer is powerful enough for the task otherwise rendering can be frustratingly slow. and only gets slower when effects, titles or filters have been added to the timeline. Good thing with this is that there is a ton of useful websites and You Tube videos teaching how to get the best from Sony Movie Studio HD Platinum and the later versions.
