Am very happy with this case. It fits perfectly and has a great soft and smooth finish. It really is neon fluorescent orange though!

UPDATE: 3 months later and the orange paint is starting to chip off the front edges...

3.0 out of 5 stars Disappointed, 6 Aug 2011
I wanted to like this book but struggled through it. If you've read blog posts and other such writings on the subject then you're probably not the target audience for this book. It feels like an absolute beginners guide and rather unfocussed. After finishing, I felt I hadn't read anything new here.

4.0 out of 5 stars Well worth reading, 29 Mar 2010
Having read the "Learn C on the Mac" book from Apress, I enjoyed this one much more. It is very well written in a conversational style that explains difficult concepts in a very approachable way.

Just be aware that there are an awful lot of typos and errors in the text which is inexcusable for a technical book. Apress really dropped the ball in this area, which is a shame because the content deserves better.

5.0 out of 5 stars A joy to read, 26 Sep 2008
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I think this is one of the best technical books I've ever read and it's done with style and humour. I started the book with some very basic knowledge of CSS and finished it feeling far more confident. The structure of the book is excellent with each chapter having an introduction to the topic that you can read anywhere and then ending with an exercise where you put the knowledge into practice.

Don't hesistate. If you want to learn CSS then this is the book you should get.

I'm a big Michael Moore fan but this is the first movie I've rented from Amazon and stopped watching half way through.

5.0 out of 5 stars Theatre at its finest, 14 Jan 2008
This review is from: Primo [DVD] (DVD)
I had always planned to see this play when it was first produced at the NT but never got round to it, so I was very excited to see this available on DVD. It is a recording of Antony Sher's stunning one man performance at the Hampstead Theatre. Based on Primo Levi's book, "If This Is a Man", the show chronicles his detention at Auschwitz and is an utterly spellbinding watch. With only one character, it makes a successful transition to the screen (which can't be said for many productions).

Also included is a fascinating half-hour programme with Antony Sher and Richard Wilson guiding us through the process of bringing Primo to the stage.

If you love theatre, you owe it to yourself to see this great production.

3.0 out of 5 stars Has its moments but not as good as series 1, 18 Dec 2006
I loved series 1 to bits and had heard from friends that series 2 was much "closer to the edge". They were right. I doubt this will get a third series. Didn't offend me but lots of times it just felt that JD had run out of ideas and went for the most ridiculous plotline she could imagine.

2.0 out of 5 stars Self indulgent rubbish, 5 Oct 2006
I'd seen Phantom at the theatre and it didn't do much for me but I thought I'd give the movie version a try. Started quite promisingly with the wonderful Miranda Richardson and very sexy Patrick Wilson. But boy does it drag on...Half way through I got bored with it and never interested again. Yes there are some classic songs in there but also some cringingly awful ones. I won't be seeing Phantom again!

5.0 out of 5 stars Absolutely stunning film, 6 Sep 2006

The performances are extraordinary and it's a captivating experience. When you see the real Aileen you realise how amazing Charlize Theron was.
