This review is from: Solo (MP3 Download)
All I can say is wow; every Song on this Album is over average. Why Bobby Chevis did not get the support that he truly deserved is something that I do not know. But this Album, & his followup are superb, & had me playing them more than once almost every time.
A must for those whom enjoy real Soul And R&B Music, you will not be disappointed!

5.0 out of 5 stars The real essence of Soul And R&B, 27 Sep 2013
This review is from: Candyman (Audio CD)
I have to say, after I purchased this Album by this almost unknown Artist, I was not only very impressed, I found myself attached to it. From beginning to end, the Tracks had me drawn to them. Songs like Candyman, Creepin', My Girl, & Simplify will have you grooving to them for hours, be it with that special someone, or even by yourself.
At a point where R&B Music has now become very Pop with the Artists that are signed to some Companies, it is rare to find real R&B. One would have to search really hard to find real quality R&B Artists that are capable of releasing such incredible Music that they can enjoy, & not skip a single track on any of their Albums. BC is definitely one of these Artists. I found myself listening to this Album, just as much as his previous Album Solo (which I highly recommend).
Overall, a fantastic Album from an unknown, yet a great Artist. A 10/10 for me!

4.0 out of 5 stars A reflection of relationships from both the Male, & Female perspectives, 1 Mar 2011
This review is from: The Brothers [DVD] (DVD)
I have to say that this Movie is very good. It is not just the acting which is on point, but so is the Soundtrack.
The fact that these well professional, & good looking Fellas are having issues when it comes to long term
relationships shows that even they have their own failings, & insecurities. But even with the issues they have with
Family matters, different Partners is a Movie that has hope, desire, forgiveness, and most especially love.
I have had the Movie for over a year, but I recommend it to those that enjoy not just comedy, but romantic Movies.
A 9/10.

4.0 out of 5 stars Her second step from the first step, 24 Dec 2009
This review is from: Never Say Never (Audio CD)
I must say, I really like this Album. I remeber hearing the Song Brandy did with Mase (On Top of The World) in 1998,
& my Classmates whom were forcing me to sing it, made me state Mase's verse, but I was way too timid to finish off
the rest. One even said that I was not that good. This was where she showed her depth, & experience in Songs like
The Boy Is Mine (with Monica), Almost Does'nt Count, Have Yoy Ever, & Put That on Everything, which show just what
she was feeling, & learning prior to the Album's release. it was at a point where R&B had amazing lyrics, raw
emotion, smooth melodies, & tight beats.

I strongly advise those whom are craving for that Soul And R&B feeling (unlike the Pop bs that has replaced real
Soul And R&B) to purchase this.... I have to say it is well worth the experience. This was 1998!

5.0 out of 5 stars The start of a promising Career, 22 Dec 2009

I have listened to the majority of the Songs on Monica's first debut, & it does not disappoint. What is even more
surprising is she was only about 14-15 in 1995, & she sounds so mature it is amazing. The in depths of the subject
matters she expresses in Songs like 'Don't Take It Personal (Just one of Them Days), With You, Before You Walk Out
of My Life, & Now I'm Gone' shows someone whom has grown, & can easily relate to the things other adult Women feel.
This is what Soul And R&B Should sound like, yet the Industry favours appearance & appeal over raw talent, & class.
If Monica is reading this, I hope she continues to make more music like this. And if the Industry is reading
this.... bring back that Soul feeling in R&B, & stop producing this Pop bs that has been going on for way too long.

5.0 out of 5 stars R&B/Soul at it's best, 6 April 2009
This review is from: Where I Wanna Be (Audio CD)
What can I say about this Fellow? Each & every one of his Songs have
meaning to them, & it is a rare case that I stumble upon any bad Song he
has made. Why he is not in the high position in R&B/Soul Industry remains
to be seen. From Shorty (Got Her Eyes On Me), Think About It (Don't Call
My Crib), He Won't Hurt You, to Where I Wanna Be, this LP has Songs for
those that appreciate love Music.
This was 1999!

5.0 out of 5 stars A well thorough 4th LP comeback, 1 April 2009
This review is from: The Rose Experience (MP3 Download)
For an individual whom has been away from the spotlight for a long long
while, this LP proves why he is so talented. Songs like Lovely (1st
Single), Betcha Don't Know Why, Lay Me Down Easy, & Me and U should
solidify his position in R&B/Soul. These are Slowjamz that one can kick
back, & listen to, material that has true meaning, & brings back the real
feeling of Soul/R&B, unlike the drivel Pop/R&B crap being put out on TV.
I have almost all of his Songs, & he does not disappoint.
Make space for Artists like Case, because they deserve every damn shine,
to remind the World this is what Soul/R&B is supposed to sound, as I am
sick of the R&B/Pop stuff being put out on TV everyday.
Keep doing what you are doing Case, hope to hear more material from you
in the future! 9/10!

5.0 out of 5 stars A Solid Album, 27 Mar 2009
This review is from: All That I Am (Audio CD)
This is one of the many LP's any one can kick back, & listen to: whether
you are with a partner, or by yourself. The talent this Guy has is just
endless. I may have to introduce his songs to my MUm (whom also likes
Soul/R&B). A point where Urban music (R&B/Soul) was at it's best, a whole
different plateau than the majority of the so called 'R&B/Pop' Songs on
today. A must for those whom either likes Joe, as an artist, or R&b/Soul
in general. This was 1997.

This is Keith Sweat at his best. I have all of his LP's from Make It Last
Forever, to Just Me. Keith Sweat released this at the point where his
popularity in the R&B/Soul Industry had risen from his previous work.
From Twisted, Nobody (ft. Anthea Cage), Come With Me (ft. Ronald Isley),
Whatever You Want, Yumi,Funky Dope Lovin' (ft. late Gerald Levert, Aaron
Hall, & Buddy Banks), & Chocolate Girl, the hits never stop. Such timeless
songs can be played by just yourself, or with the company of another
individual. I found myself playing this a lot in Spring/Summer 2008,
continuously collecting so many Songs from this talented individual.

This is the example of true R&B/Soul, unlike the nonsense being released
in Music nowadays. A point where proper substance in R&B/Soul could be
seen from different Artists in this genre of Music. This was 1996!
