Not really a lot you can say about this item, I've got 3 of them on my house and they run at great speeds and are really reliable.

This one is used to connect a freest box to the internet for iPlayer etc.

5.0 out of 5 stars Love it, 24 Dec 2010
Absolutely brilliant film delivered with the expected Chris Morris satire.

I love the subject matter that it tackles and the way in which it tackles it.

Two Thumbs good!!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Does exactly what it says!!!, 24 Dec 2010
My Dad bought a new internet ready TV, we were moments away from buying the stupidly expensive Sony dongle in order to run iPlayer etc wirelessly (the routers upstairs and the TV's downstairs), until we came across these little beauties.

Plug one in near the router and one near the TV, all ethernet cables supplied and within 5 mins the TV was fully connected to the internet with no wireless setup issues.

These really are worth the money, although im starting to regret it as unleashing iPlayer on my parents has resulted in being forced to watch Strictly Come Dancing final to many times!!!!!

4.0 out of 5 stars Well, I really like It!!!!, 27 Nov 2010
= Fun:4.0 out of 5 stars
Read lots of people pretty much slagging the game off, but as far as the story mode goes next to COD4 I thought this was the best story mode of any recent COD release, the narrative is excellent and all levels relevant I personally enjoyed it more than the over the top experience of MW2.

Plenty of variety as it skips through the various elements of the cold war and the Vietnam levels are brilliant, I just wish they would make a whole COD Vietnam game!!

The Multiplayer is pretty standard COD affair with little tweaks and im very much enjoying playing through it, I do get the feeling that some people tend to batter the game just to be intentionally controversial.

Overall its everything you expect form COD plus a major dose of Zombies, which for me makes a welcome return, also has an excellent mini Zombie game which can be accessed from escaping from the chair in the start menu.

Only minor point for me is the graphics don't seem to have progresses, but the gameplay and story more than make up for this.

4.0 out of 5 stars Excellent NAS drive, 27 Nov 2010
Had this running with my MacBook Pro for over a month now and no issues at all everything seems to be working as it should and the drive is very quite and robust, and an easy and relieving experience after a bit of a nightmare with a LaCie NAS. Also there is a Torrent client included ont he drive which isnt well advertised but something that was a massive bonus.

I also have my Playstation 3 connected to the network and the media streaming element works very well, bit disappointing that it cant decode videos on the fly, but Handbrake for Mac eases the pain of this minor complaint.

Only other minor issues that stop it from getting 5*'s are that its not the easiest thing to setup and the guidance isn't great in regard to accessing the drive on a Mac, but I figured out to download an updated manual from the WD website, but could of done with this being included on the box.

The wireless transfer speeds aren't that great and its pretty garish looking.

All in all im very happy with the drive, an excellent home NAS drive.

2.0 out of 5 stars Think I got a bad one!!!, 27 Nov 2010
The Positives

*Looks Great
*Good Software interface, caters for Mac and PC
*I found data transfer speeds to be pretty quick

Thats about all that was good!!!

The Negatives (their are many in my experience of the product)

*Heavy and very hot
*Very noisy especially at startup and shutdown
*Crashed rather a lot
*Massive problems with trying to back up via time machine on my Mac Book Pro, would complete the initial backup, but then after about it a week it use to hide the backup so it couldn't be accessed rendering it useless for TimeMachine backups, I even tried reformatting the drive 3 times but the same issue occurred every time, and resulted in me returning it to Amazon and opting for the MyBook World edition which has been faultless.

All in all a bit of a duff and frustrating experience.

5.0 out of 5 stars Meant for Hi-Def, 28 May 2009
This has to be one of the best backdated blu-ray releases, the film was made to be shown in Hi-Def.

The picture is pin sharp at 1080P and the 5.1 is brilliant and sounds crispy and bassy in all the right places.

As far as the package goes, its got two versions of the film, the cinema edit and a directors extended cut plus tons of special features.

Thing is if your looking at buying this then you know the story and what a great movie it is. So all your probably thinking is 'is it worth getting on Blu Ray, when ive already got the DVD', in short the answer is yes and at 12.00 its a bargain.

5.0 out of 5 stars So much fun its hard to explain!!!!, 2 Mar 2009
= Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: LittleBigPlanet (PS3) (Video Game)
Keep it short!!!

You cant explain this game to anybody, when you do you make it sound rubbish!!!!

BUT.....Just play it, its the most fun ive ever had, its the best platformer ive ever played, the music is cool, the visuals are amazing, and due to the massive on-line community and the simple level creator you never have to play the same level twice.

Stop thinking about it and get it, whoever you are you wont be disapointed.

And at 14 its unbeleviably good value.

5.0 out of 5 stars Tales of Turkish Pirates., 1 Oct 2005
This review is from: Stephen Malkmus (Audio CD)
Good, after the personal anguish and torture that myself and so many other fans of Pavement suffered back in 1999, the no-new-Pavement-for-the-rest-of-my-life feeling has been eased.
S.M.has relesed and album that is full of tales of Turkish Pirates, Yule Brenner and dirty middle aged men in bad cover bands. Great songs on the album which allow you to here more songs which you can argue with friends about the meaning of.
Certainly has eased the no Pavement pain.

5.0 out of 5 stars Crooked Raiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnnnnn, 1 Oct 2005
As any Pavement fan will know, Crooked Rain is the classic breakthrough album from the band. This special re-release 2 CD edition certainly proves worth the extra tracks, the Peel Session on the end of the second CD alone is worth buying the re-issue for. The 12 tracks fromm the original pressing are here along with some that didnt quite make the final cut, the demo's of Wowee Zowee tracks 'Grounded' and 'Kennel District' are worthy of good listening and show how much they cleaned tham up for that album.
All in all I would recomend this album to anybody who is interested in the band, even if you have the original its worth investing for the other 30 or so tracks.
