4.0 out of 5 stars Good controller, 5 Mar. 2015

Nicely made, works fine, information is a bit lacking. Cannot compare it with other controllers as I'm not really a gamer so haven't much experience.

Excellent, as expected but very very heavy so to read it one needs a table. Masses of images to study and beautifully put together. I found myself picking out alternative images from the contact prints.

5.0 out of 5 stars really impressed, 14 Nov. 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Great product. Screen is lovely and the tablet is well designed and built with quality. The sound is good but the JBL ear buds are excellent. SD cards have to be formatted as FAT32, as others won't be recognised, as I found out. On screen keyboard isn't bad but is enormous and keys are much larger than standard . Cannot comment on the fifteen hour battery claim as yet but it ran all day even including a movie. Even my son who has an iPad was impressed.

3.0 out of 5 stars Needs a better translation and format, 7 Oct. 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
First. the translation, from German I assume, is pretty poor. Next the format, A4 landscape is OK but doesn't work unless the book lies flat. Spiral binding would work but this is the conventional paperback glued spine. So, it won't lie open. Next, the art is not exceptional, in fact it's pretty ordinary, but that does mean it doesn't threaten the reader. However, it did lead me to various Gimp add-ons so no complaint there. NB Graphics is the English spelling. Needs revision. Better value at say £9.99.

4.0 out of 5 stars Since when was Keith left-handed?, 26 Jan. 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I am amazed, and just have to write a review mentioning this before even I've seen the DVDs. My sons got me 'Charlie is my Darling' deluxe edition at Christmas and I had fun with my friends, prompting them to spot the deliberate mistake, which was a photograph of Bill Wyman printed the wrong way around so that he seemed to play his bass left-handed. One could also clearly see that the word FRAMUS was just like mirror writing. An unforgiveable and elementary mistake we thought, but hang on, this book in 'Ladies and Gentlemen' repeats the error except in this case it's Keith Richards printed in reverse. Is it a joke or what? Nice set otherwise, beautifully presented. Your player needs to handle NTSC though.

4.0 out of 5 stars Excellent case, 24 Dec. 2012

Colour is a good compliment to my blue iPod, and it offers excellent protection too. The magnetic clasp works well, but the wrist loop is difficult if no impossible to fit. To me this is not very important as I think the loop is of limited use anyway.

Moshi iPouch for iPod in Baby Blue
Moshi iPouch for iPod in Baby Blue

3.0 out of 5 stars Disappointing, 30 Oct. 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I like Moshi designs, my Moshi earphones are excellent but this isn't that good. That's especially true in this Baby Blue colour. The material looks and feels like a toddler's pyjamas and after 24 hours was pretty scruffy. The lanyard is pointless. Who's going to wander around wearing this? I'm sure the material is great for cleaning and for protection of the iPod from scuffs, but that just makes it more likely to get dirty, so if you still fancy one get a dark colour.

1.0 out of 5 stars Rotten, 30 Oct. 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This is dire. Amazon, if you are aspiring as a publisher you need to employ at least one publishing editor, or at the very least a proof reader. 'Unwritten' is so accurate, as the writer is barely literate. The layout is best described as a mess. Full justification rarely works, but on an iPod screen it is terrible. Sections have huge gaps, and some have the heading, and sometimes one word too, on the previous page. Is the massive line spacing an attempt to fill up more of the page, a pathetic schoolchild trick?
Rather than paying anything for this I should have been paid a substantial sum to read it. The standard of English is about that of a five year old, and how can iOS be described over and over as iSO? Didn't anyone read this stuff before it was put online? Send me some compensation Amazon and trash this rubbish. Now.
Let's have it renamed too as 'iPod Touch 5: The extremely badly written guide'.

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant but Wrist Strap is Redundant, 30 Oct. 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I loved my Gen 4 version, but this is much nicer still. However, the strap is unecessary in my view, and in any case it is much longer than it needs to be. The larger screen makes all the difference and I feel this is better as a portable device than the new iPad Mini.

The colour of mine (blue) is beautiful and it looks a lot more scratch resistant than earlier models, which were so easily marked. The camera has a bigger lens and seems an improvement, but battery life isn't impressive. There's a flash now, which with the right app doubles as a flashlight.

I think the cut in weight is only 15 grams but it makes this model feel so light it's hardly noticeable in one's hand.

The downside is the new Lightning connector. In itself it's OK and much neater but what about the old accessories. Adaptors are available......at a price.
