3.0 out of 5 stars hmmmm, 27 Mar 2008
= Fun:3.0 out of 5 stars
this is a good game and is genuinely fun at first but unless you have hours to spend staring blankly wating for fish to grow only to find them dead when you next turn the game on you may be a a little bored.

3.0 out of 5 stars concerning pehaps, 12 Mar 2008
this was supposed to come out in january, then feb, then march and then may.
all the publicity in the uk was done in late 07.
i've heard a few tracks and seen the tracklist so i can't imagine anything good is going to come from a 6 month delay

4.0 out of 5 stars damn sexie, 8 Feb 2004
having seen what has to have been the funniest show ever in sheffield i was keen to watch the dvd at christmas. many of these reviews have been written with no account of the fact that it was eddies first show in the uk. obviously meaning there had been no time to fine tune the show. this is a fabulous show and obviously designed for people who are on a similar intelectual level as eddie and who keep up to date with recent affairs. many reviews seem to have been written by people who got this as a christmas gift and have not considered the current events of the time the dvd was shot.
a great show, eddie is still going strong!

3.0 out of 5 stars virtual pets, no so much fun, 4 May 2003
This review is from: Catz 2 (CD-ROM)
this would probably be great fun for children or adults getting to grips with a pc as it helps to develop abilities in using the mouse. but for anyone else it probably won't be that much fun. there seems little point to it and although it is addictive at first the novelty will soon wear off.

4.0 out of 5 stars great but no for everyone, 22 April 2003
if your looking for one of those films that has all the award winng stuff, like explosions and fights then don't watch this, but if you want a funny, sometimes light hearted, sometimes heavy, with a realistic ending, then you should watch this.
Both characters have something to learn from each other and as with most films, something to show the audience. As a film many viewers will see it a the last temptation of the groom, which it is. but it is also funny, without taking it too far as so many films do.

5.0 out of 5 stars wasn't a fan 'til i read this, 21 April 2003
i bought this book mainly due to the hype and also because i had gift vouchers that came to the amount and the store had nothing else that caught my attention so much.
i had read Q magazine and read the hype about the release of Kurt's journals but i barely knew anything about their music (falling slightly out of the age category of most fans)although i did know a few songs. i had on the other hand heard about Kurt's death and the suspicous circumstance surrounding it, Also his drug use.Despite knowing nothing i found this to be one of the greatest things i've read - better than any kind of traditional auto biographical books. of course there is a rather perverse sense to reading what is essentially someone's diary, but it is truely honest. i found it insightful and turned me into a nirvana fan overnight.
It becomes very deep, detailing his lowest points. i found it conforting that someone so famous was just the same as everyone else.
my only problem with this book is the money and invasion of privacy that has occoured.

2.0 out of 5 stars the worst expansion, 21 April 2003
when you own all the expansions or even just have one you will probably find yourself disapointed with this one. it is fun at first and allows for some interaction with other new sims. Apart from this it becomes boring and tedious. i found myself to not use this feature and just use better expansions like hot date or unleashed.

5.0 out of 5 stars An Amazing book, no wonder they made it into a film, 15 April 2003
This review is from: High Fidelity (Paperback)
this would have to be in my top 5 books of all time. it just has everything, love, sex, confusion etc. the strangest thing is that this book can sometimes seem like its about everything and at other times appear to be about nothing. its Hornby's style of writing that kept me gripped whilst reading it for the thrid or fourth time. if you read one book this year or any time for that matter, read high fidelity.
