5.0 out of 5 stars Different perspective of a murder mystery, 22 July 2014
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
This was a great version of a little known stand alone Agatha Christie book, no Marple or Poirot feature. It's an interesting viewpoint on a murder.
Arthur wakes from a year long coma to discover that he was a man's alibi for murder and because he was unconscious he was unable to come forward. feeling guilty he goes to the family to tell them that their brother/son, was really innocent but instead of getting gratitude or angry they are annoyed that he is innocent. Finally it becomes clear that they are annoyed because if he wasn't guilty then one of them really is and the likelihood is that the police will not solve it. Hence the title ordeal by innocence.
I loved this version of it, have to read the book again, I enjoyed it so much I listened to it twice in one day.

Heard this guy on an episode of Bones and I loved the music so hunted Amazon to find him and sure enough there he was and there are the two songs played in the episode on this album. Great music very easy to listen to even if you aren't a country fan.

3.0 out of 5 stars It cleans my teeth and the red light to show ..., 7 July 2014
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
It cleans my teeth and the red light to show when you are pressing to hard is very handy but the brush feels big in my mouth. I don't know whether that is because I have gotten used to a Phillips Sonicare toothbrush but this it does feel big and ungainly in the mouth. This would be a handy brush to use when going on holiday as it has a small charger and isn't too expensive in comparison to other brushes but I think I will be sticking with my Phillips as my teeth feel cleaner with it and I can reach the back of mouth without having to unhinge my jaw.

This is a great t-shirt but be warned it is a fashion t-shirt so it supposed to be tight fitting for all those who prefer a baggy t-shirt - go large!

Out of The Furnace [DVD] [2013]
Out of The Furnace [DVD] [2013]
Dvd ~ Christian Bale
Price: £3.99

2.0 out of 5 stars Bale is brilliant but the film is dark., 15 May 2014
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
Christian Bale is brilliant in this film hence the two stars but the film is a little dark and the story line is lacking in depth. I was torn between skipping to the end of the film to see how it ends and watching it all the way through. I watched it all the way through in the end but won't be bothering again.
Storyline is standard, Christian Bale and brother are close but going to war changes the brother and he starts a downward spiral, Bale tries his best to help him but he has his own run of bad luck and can't be there for him all he can do is take revenge.
Bale is brilliant as the good quiet man who gradually loses everything. There just wasn't enough of a storyline for me, no depth to it, it sort of skimmed over the plot points and then left you wondering what happens at the end. I can guess what probably happened but I could be wrong.
Bale is worth watching, he usually his, but the story is a little rubbish fairly 2D, although similar to other revenge tales it doesn't follow the standard path which is a bonus but it just didn't go far enough for me.

4.0 out of 5 stars Lighter than the last model., 19 April 2014
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
Found this easy to put together, unlike some reviews I didn't have a problem putting the machine together. It is a lighter machine than the previous model, which is handy for my ageing dad who is the one who usually mows the lawn.
The trimmer for edges isn't amazing, it cuts the edges but you still need to go down afterwards with clippers. That could be us being fussy about our lawns. Not too expensive either and packs away quite small so takes up less space in the garage.

4.0 out of 5 stars Useful size, 13 April 2014
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
A nice size bag, space enough for camera body, a couple of lens, cables for downloading. There are pockets inside the lid of the bag for memory cards and batteries as well as pocket in the front for cables and pens as well as other equipment.
Made of sturdy material, waterproof and hard wearing with a strap that has decent cushion on it to pad the shoulder. Bit on the bulky side but it holds a lot which is handy for days out with the camera and all the equipment you need.

4.0 out of 5 stars Thooughly enjoyable modernisation., 30 Mar. 2014
This review is from: Northanger Abbey (Hardcover)
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
This is a fairly accurate modernisation of a Jane Austen classic. The story of the innocent and naïve Cat Morland who loves stories and imagines herself a heroine in search of a story. In this modern version she is the home schooled daughter of a vicar in charge of Piddle Valley.
Set in Edinburgh instead of Bath during the Festival season. Cat meets Henry Tilney the gorgeous second son of General Tilney the owner of a border abbey called Northanger. Cat also meets Belle Thorpe a shallow selfish creature who thinks that Cat and her brother James have a lot more money than they do. Belle quickly makes it obvious that she is in love with James or at least claims to be in love with him, the way she constantly talks in text speak and slang drives me up the wall and makes me dislike her even more. Belle and her brother John seem completely unable to listen to other people especially when they say things they don't like.

Cat quickly learns that life is not a story and that people aren't all as nice as she thinks.

Well written the story is in keeping with the original but has been modernised to the present day, the only thing that bugs me slightly is even though she is only 17yrs she really should know that vampires don't exists but that is part of her charm.
Well worth a read and waiting for the next in the Austen Project series.

The golden syrup gives these a slightly sweeter than the ordinary without being sickly sweet. They are really quite healthy considering that they have golden syrup in them.

3.0 out of 5 stars Bit dry but fills a gap nicely, 4 Feb. 2014
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
These are chewy fill a gap between meals. It's a little dry and could do with a bit more maple syrup or toffee. Taste alright and easy to chewy without feeling like I'm risking a tooth.
