...this is the perfect accompanying book for a course in Polish. I am taking evening classes in the language and this book has been so helpful in teaching proper conversation. For teaching yourself this is not the book for you.

Can't fault this thing at all for the price. Works as soon as you plug it in with a sturdy design that I'm sure will last a long time. Very pretty too.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good for anyone, 2 Nov. 2014

This review is from: Z (Audio CD)
2 fantastic albums in one. Sky Blue sounds much more grand and euphoric, much like the title suggests. Dark Matters is the nuts sequel we expected from Ziltoid and sounds a bit darker while also including plenty of dialogue telling part 2 of his story.
If you're a Devin fan then go for it, it's hard to be disappointed. For new fans this is a very accessible part of Devin's career and a great intro to his genius.

It is a little awkward to use but you get used to it eventually and it does look awesome, well worth a buy since it's so cheap.

4.0 out of 5 stars Definitely worth a buy, 17 Feb. 2014

This review is from: Time I (Audio CD)
This album is a fantastic one to simply put on and let run all the way through while you're playing a game or reading for example. It feels epic, like the soundtrack to an awesome journey. Sons of Winter and Stars is the stand out here but each song flows perfectly into the next and they all feel well connected, helping the album sound like a story in musical form.
Sadly I can only give it 4 stars because it just doesn't last long enough! The total run time is about 40 minutes, which is a fair amount but just a little longer and it would have felt perfect. This does mean however, that their new album, Time II will definitely be on my buy list.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great fun, 17 Feb. 2014

I've always been interested in the stories of famous pirates and thanks to this book I've found out the real stories are much more interesting than the legends. Woodard doesn't focus wholly on them though, he also includes a lot of information on life in early 18th century Britain for context which I found just as interesting, Information seems to be well researched and if there is any doubt Woodard states it.
Overall, not too heavy going, very interesting and exactly what you want when it comes to real pirate stories.
