1.0 out of 5 stars Unusable!!, 17 Nov. 2015

This product sadly was not fit for purpose
It had sharp jagged plastic sticking out making it difficult to put into my lip piercing and too uncomfortable to wear.
I did try to trim the offending part without success :(

Pleasant enough story, although the author feels it necessary to spoon feed us information. The ending was ripe for a sequel.

Most unusual tale told really well
The twists are a bit obvious to be honest but that doesn't spoil the story; unlike the ending which was very weak.

3.0 out of 5 stars Rachel PLEASE learn how to end a story, 14 Aug. 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I bought this on the back of reading the star crossed series, and was pleased to see that the spellchecker was turned off so silly spelling errors were barely visible. The story as with all Rachel's books was gripping and easy to read with a great story idea, but sadly it didn't go any-where. I was taught all stories should have a beginning a middle and an end, Rachel excels at beginnings and her middles are great but there never seems to be a concrete conclusion.

The story line is that of a teenage love triangle where the heroine is a star(literally) out to save the world from evil, By the end of the book she has neither chosen which of her 2 suitors she loves nor has she saved the world, so rather disappointing.

PS I would not allow my 13yr old read this as I consider it too adult, a book for 15yr+ and aimed at girls mostly

4.0 out of 5 stars my first and only juicer I will never need another, 14 Aug. 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
after considerable research I think I chose the best juicer on the market.
It is mechanical and preserves essential vitamins and minerals from the food; It copes with leaves, roots and fruit; It is quick and easy to clean; assembly is straight forward and the parts are robust.
I have read that it can clog but if you alternate wet and dry this is lessened and at worst it takes 2 seconds to unscrew the end and remove fibrous material then screw it back on to continue.
It is very expensive so don't buy it if juicing is going to be a passing fad, but if you know you are going to get the use out of it this is built to last. I use mine 3 times a day every day and can forsee it being used for many years

3.0 out of 5 stars If you enjoyed book 1 & 2 you'll like this, 25 Jun. 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Having read book 1&2 I was very quick to order book three, I think the writing style of the author has matured a little,(I was convinced the first books were written by a teenager fresh out of school) although her grammar and spelling mistakes still make reading it a tad frustrating. The story line hangs together well and is not a deep meaningful heavy going tome but an easy read that is entertaining and quick to read.

4.0 out of 5 stars Much more adult than the first 4 read it before giving it to a child, 25 Jun. 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I have read all the previous books in the series and this quite surprised me as the others were all in the voice of the heroine whilst this is in the voice of the heroine's brother. It is interesting to see his perspective, but the writing style has remained the same, (basic-easy reading-with a bucket full of spelling and grammar errors) which feels odd.

3.0 out of 5 stars An easy storyline for a relaxed read, 25 Jun. 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This whole series of books is very enjoyable, aimed at mid teens I am not sure how well it would stand on its own without having read the previous books in the series. Plus a lot of mid-teens might consider it a bit of a stretch of the imagination to go reading about magic and princesses etc. The whole series needs proof reading and tidying up, there are far too many spelling and grammar mistakes which can be very distracting.
