This book is awful. Pretty boy was fine but everyone is so scared all they imply in secrets is that he might be well endowed. From start to finish Kate goes on about a phone number from some bird he fancied years ago. She is an awful writer and I was always hoping some decent story would be written about him, but to no avail.

What a book this is. It is written like a crime thriller and does not fail to deliver. I am a keen athletics fan and studied drugs in sport so this was brilliant particularly how honest it was. It comes from many different angles and I like the way it doesn't shy away from the fact the Americans are just as guilty as anyone, they were just upset someone was doing it better than they were after the '84 olympics.

I've read lots of books written about people that have tried to build a bigger reputation than they actually had and living off the shirt tails of other by adding there own exaggerations but this was completely different. From beginning to end the stories grab you and fully involve you in the range rover murder. It kicks off straight away and then bounces from one story to the other. I saw Rise of the Footsoldier first and this adds so much to it the film only gets your attention. Quality read and REAL!!!
