Leather and Recycled Paper Scroll Travel Notebook Journal Green
Leather and Recycled Paper Scroll Travel Notebook Journal Green

5.0 out of 5 stars Small but just right, 30 Dec 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This is the second notebook of this type that I have bought and used. They're quite small (smaller than A5) so don't expect to be able to use it for big detailed notes. I've been using it as a journal and on days where I write a lot, I tend to use up 4-6 pages, other days I won't write much at all, so generally each one will last me a month.

The paper is of good quality, I tend to use a biro to write in this, so not sure how ink from fountain pens and the like settles.

1.0 out of 5 stars Beating around the bush, 5 Nov 2011
I'm sure for people looking to go into research this book is moderate, but for an effective look at the world of entrepreneurship is a tedious excuse for academic assessments. It spends far too much time beating around the bush discussing redundant theories even after debunking said theories, insisting on referencing other academics who's only input on a theory was to say "I agree with this theory" 20 years after the original theory was published. The book itself seems to be written by a first year undergraduate who has been told that they have to get 5 references into each page regardless of whether they're necessary or not and that they have to cover every minuscule detail of entrepreneurial behaviour with at least two pages of text.

If you're interested in what it takes to be an entrepreneur, the history of entrepreneurship, different fields of entrepreneurship, the impact of entrepreneurship on modern society or any other entrepreneurial topic, do not buy this book. There are better books available from your local library and online that don't waste your time and tell you the information that you're wanting to find rather than waffling like Boris Johnson and never actually giving you an answer.

Edition: Paperback

4.0 out of 5 stars My Review?, 20 May 2010
Another fantastic book from Steven Erikson, adding to the lives of some of the most interesting side characters from the Malazan Book of the Fallen series. Really giving additional depth in traditional Erikson style that leaves you wanting to read more.
