4.0 out of 5 stars

This film is great. It's really important for martial arts films to have good choreography and camera work, and this film has both. It also has a good old-school samurai legend style plot and a really nice soulful feel.
What really sets this film apart, though is the gritty, moody film style, which is sort-of similar to that of 'Saving Private Ryan'.
So it doesn't have special features, so what - it doesn't need them. In my opinion, all that holds this back from having five stars is that it isn't long enough for the story, so it feels a bit rushed and doesn't build enough suspense.
