if you like what he did with cream, you should get this now! it amazes me how the critics panned the airforce albums when they were originally released. ginger should be knighted for the wonderful amalgamation of talent on these 2 albums, especially the live double. and "stradavarius", which he recorded after airforce, is world music before the term was coined. "do what you like" is expensive, but worth every penny.

5.0 out of 5 stars really solid, 12 July 2009
This review is from: A Solid Bond (Audio CD)
graham bond plays alto better than any of his other records(none of that electric alto screeching). the first 9 cuts are a trio, apparently, with
jon hiseman and dick heckstall-smith, who are in immaculate form. the last 3 are with jack, ginger and john mclaughlin, who's especially prescient on "the grass is greener". there should be a worldwide acknowledgement for graham bond. not the greatest singer, alto or keyboard player, but a wonderful example of an artist whose sum of parts equal the greatest total imaginable. get this now: real music by genius artists.
