4.0 out of 5 stars Crazy chaotic 4-player madness, 10 Jun 2013
= Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Hilarious, chaotic, fun. Various toy cars racing around wacky-but-challenging environments, and pick up goofy-but-great weapons to burn, smash, or push the other players to their doom.

Unlike many racing games, no player can fall too far behind in MMv3, as falling behind simply takes you briefly out of the game until a single player wins the point, and all are respawned. The play continues in this way until someone wins all the points, or the match ends.

Mario Kart players will feel at home here, once they get used to the camera angles and the maps. A classic PS1 party title.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic live show, 10 Jun 2013

Great footage of one of Zappa's best lineups, adrian belew on guitar and vocals + terry bozio on drums, and more amazing musicians. Awesome show. Tracks are split up with clips of eccentric zappa+band weirdness plus a mesmerizingly psychedelic stop-motion animation.

These extras can be skipped, however. Although they are surely worth a watch or two for the personality demonstrated by zappa and his band. Also included are humourous cut-out glasses to shield a viewer from the corrupting effect of rock-music-videos, and more novelty material.

4.0 out of 5 stars Acceptable tobacco replacement, 10 Jun 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I used this stuff as a tobacco replacement to smoke. It came slightly too damp to smoke well, but after it dried a little it was quite good. Great value compared with GreenGo and other smoking herbs.

4.0 out of 5 stars Seems to do the job fine, can't hear any unwanted noise, 10 Jun 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Doesn't feel robust, although hasn't broken yet. No sign that it's for the ME-50, so you could get confused and think it's for something else, but it works fine.

So far so good.

4.0 out of 5 stars Brink - PC, 17 Jun 2011
= Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Brink (PC DVD) (DVD-ROM)
Brink is a finely tuned shooter that encourages teamwork and allows for various different playstyles. However, Brink is not by any means a game that is easy to learn. It takes understanding of the classes, their roles, objectives and also good understanding of the maps. Once you have these you should be able enjoy Brink to it's fullest potential.

P.S. the free-running or 'parkour' system works almost flawlessly when you master it's use; so much so that you'll feel restricted when you return to a normal FPS!

P.P.S (june 2013) Sadly this game has been in decline for a long time due to ever-shrinking playerbase, and (it seems) lack of post-release-support by Bathesda/SplashDamage. This is still a good game, but you will have to wait until certain times to find a server with players playing each other. If you do, they'll probably be mic-wielding friendly veterans, and you'll have a blast.

3.0 out of 5 stars Great for fans of the series, but not one to attract any new kinds of player., 10 Sep 2009
= Fun:3.0 out of 5 stars
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Well the graphics are good, a sturdy 8/10 or so. The game is multi-core optimised too, even getting fps from all FOUR of the cores in my system.

The gameplay of UT3 manages to keep the energy and pace that the series is loved for, with some extras thrown in, such as a bunch of new vehicles, new guns and plenty of gore. Aside from small gimmicks, the gameplay is vastly unchanged from the style of the previous games, and therefor unlikely to appeal to people who weren't a fan of the prior games.

The AI is decent, though it does have the odd moment where it seems not to care about incoming fire at all, but it is still a notable improvement.

The sound quality itself is crisp, but it does all start to sound the same after a while. The sound options menu is lacking.

Overall, UT3 is to its predecessors much like what Counter-Strike: Source is to Counter Strike, mostly a visual upgrade, but with a few odd bits and bobs thrown in to enhance the fun. But as with both of said games, not alot has changed in the core gameplay, and the game is more like a remake than a revolution.
