4.0 out of 5 stars Great cards, 29 Oct. 2013

These are great cards, lots of fun playing with their friends and swopping if they want to. They are actually for stocking fillers for Christmas so can give a true feedback.

4.0 out of 5 stars What a page turner!, 3 Oct. 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Mist Over Pendle (Paperback)
This is a brilliantly written book about the so-called Pendle Witches - in my mind they were "wise women" who indeed could help or hinder ordinary folks in their day to day lives. It is sad to know how badly they were treated by those that were ignorant enough to believe the gossip and the tales told by others. I would definitley recommend.

4.0 out of 5 stars Eleanor the Queen who should have been!, 3 Oct. 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Just having read this book and living near Norwich and quite near Framlingham, I was familiar with Eleanor Talbots role in Edwards life. The author has done so much research, at times the "who is related to who" is a little difficult to follow but altogether a really good description of the period and the characters.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best novel on Richard I have read so far, 3 Oct. 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
The writers interpretation of the subject was so clear especially as to Richard's character, and his relationship with his wife Anne. Lot of research obvoiusly done and as I say, it is the best novel on the subject I have ever read. Having very recently visited Bosworth Battlefield, I could almost feel Richard's tragedy at having lost those so called friends to whom he had entrusted his faith. Unfortunatley not everyone was as truly loyal as Richard was and he was subsequently slaughtered because of it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Top Marks for Introduction to Richard 111, 3 Oct. 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
It gave a very accurate overview for beginners to the story of Richard's life. I enjoyed it although I do already have an extensive knowledge of the subject. Very good value and a quick read.

The White Princess (Cousins War 5)
The White Princess (Cousins War 5)
by Philippa Gregory
Edition: Hardcover

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant, 3 Sept. 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This is a really brilliant book about how Princess Elizabeth of York became Hanry V11's queen. Margaret Stanley came over exactly as I imagined, neurotic, obsessed, controlling and a woman who would stop at nothing to put and keep her son on the throne. A very Dislikeable person. As to her son Henry, well I can truly say he came over as exactly as I had imagined, Cold, unlovable and completely under his mother's thumb - I have no qualms believing that his mother had a hand in getting rid of the princes in the tour.

3.0 out of 5 stars A Bit disappointing, 3 Sept. 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I don't know what I was expecting, but I found the presenter of this DVD quite boring and not at all inspiring. I have visited Middleham on several occasions, but this still didn't put together the jigsaw of how the castle appeared in Richard's time.
