An amazing package for the Jam fan in your life. If you don't know The Jam, where you been? The Gift was the last studio album and here it is given the deluxe treatment, you get 3 discs ( two studio, one live) and a DVD (gig) along with postcards and a book.

The quality of the Kent releases is in no doubt and this one is no different.
Starting of with the title track "Pounds of soul" by Betty Bibbs sets the tone for a journey through ballad to uptempo floorshakin' groovers. Track of the comp though has to be Tobacco Rd ( no, not that one) by Tommy Youngblood which is as good as it gets. You should get this if you're just dabbling or really into yr soul.
