2.0 out of 5 stars WHAT A SHAME, 29 May 2010
Diana was breathe of fresh air on the X-Factor. Like so many I guess, I was forced to watch the show week in week out and had to suffer the innane screeching of the audience applauding the contestants who would at best end up in the clearance bucket at Tesco.
Diana was different, she had personality and, yes, star quality.
This is a collection of over produced meaningless songs. It just seems that someone has selected songs of different styles to see what sticks. Nothing does.
Sorry !

5.0 out of 5 stars DREAMY INTERPRETATIONS, 12 Jun 2009
I bought this because I thought it was a live album (yeah, I'm a sucker for live stuff) but it turned out to be a thoughtfully constructed album of some of the best CC songs. There is a twist, the songs have dreamy, late night jazz feel - very smooth.

Highly recommended.

1.0 out of 5 stars I must have missed something, 4 Jan 2009
This review is from: Arlington Road [DVD] [1999] (DVD)
OK, so a professor specialising (sorry, specializing)in terrorism perchance lives opposite some terrorists. Well, thats convenient. And it all gets even more convenient. Prof drives down road and finds terrorist son with hand hanging off. Prof has a good knowledge of blueprints so concludes that neighbour is going to blow up a building (even though neighbour is an architect). On and on and on only to climax with said prof getting through FBI security in his Ford with a bomb in the boot (sorry, trunk). So incredible it is so annoying. Sorry all those who gave 10 stars.

4.0 out of 5 stars MAY BE ADDICTIVE, 26 Sep 2006
This review is from: Antidepressant (Audio CD)
After the first play this new work is pleasing to listen to - much better than the last album which was brilliant for insomniacs.

Lloyd seems to have regained his English sense of humour in Anti Depressant which is good. I wonder how many of these songs were actually concieved in the UK.

All the loyal fans will love it - whether it attracts new ones remains to be seen.
