Edition: Paperback

5.0 out of 5 stars a rare gardenia, 20 Jun. 2007
This review is from: White Gardenia (Paperback)
wonderful, encapsulating! this is truly a fantastic book that i could not put down. it was excitement and heartache all at once and i have passed this book on to so many friends and family that they love it too. belinda has done her research and really captures all the places in her book with authenticity (ive been to 2 of the places and live in one of the countries based in her book) and i could not wait to read more from her. wild lavender was just as great and i really wait with anticipation for more from belinda. highly recommend and know that you will not be disappointed

this is a lovely book ecapturing the true spirit of historical france and pre-moulin rouge paris! you will be pulled in and not let go until the very end of this wonderfully written love story, through war-torn paris you will be by simone as she battles through love and heartache. you wont be disappointed with this book. i love this author and was just as captured with her first novel white gardenia, another must read! i wait in anticipation for more from belida as im a true fan as will any lesley pearse or paullina simons fans

5.0 out of 5 stars i give to charity!!!!, 20 Jun. 2007
This review is from: Charity (Paperback)
what an amazing book. i read this book about 10 years ago and loved it so much that i could not put it down and all these years later it is still doing the rounds of friends and family. become transported to the swinging 60's of london town and you will become so encaptured with charity's life you will think you are living it along with her. you will not be able to put it down. highly recommended and you will not be able to stop at just this book, all her others are just as good however this rates as my favourite. any paullina simons and belinda alexander fans will LOVE lesley pearse!
