3.0 out of 5 stars Good but needs a better producer., 7 May 2013
This review is from: Fruit (Audio CD)
If The Cardigans were Sweden's newest pop sensation in the 90's.The Asteroid Galaxy Tour must be Denmark latest pop sensation the track Golden Age,seams too be the familiar with Heineken drinkers. You can say the album takes a lot of influences from Funk and Soul and 80's Hip Hip beats and 90's jazz horn breaks.Covering it in with chilled spaced out Air Moon Safari and Royksopp Melody Am organs and keyboards,Mette Lindberg Bubble Gum vocals that remind me of Cibo Matto,Lamb or a more funky upbeat Lykke Li.Around the bend and Golden Age are the stand out radio tracks. But Push The Envelope and Satellite and Hero are more cool tracks on Fruit but I feel, this album needed a more work and better producer hand on.Too make it more a remembered album but I know some day this album will be looked back,as a great album in the next 10 years.

4.0 out of 5 stars More dark nordic noir., 19 Jun. 2012
The Bridge is the lastest nordic crime show to hit our screen along with other euro crime shows,Wallander The Killing and france's Braquo and The Spiral. But the show is abit diffrent from The Killing or Wallander,as The Bridge is a tale of a killer out for revange and brings fear to the people of Copenhagen and Malmo.Actress Sofia helin plays officer Saga who suffer from asperger makes life trouble too understand peoples feeling but in a odd weird creepy way,as were Martin Rohde's is a no crap taking ex cop who is a happy go lucky charater but struggles to keep his family from falling apart, abit like bad man Tony Saprano. There a odd mix and like all other nordic shows and books from Stig larrson and Jo Nesbo it's full of strange gritty dark charaters everywhere with seedy lifestyles,But if someone said what the best show is between The Killing and The Bridge.I would say the Killing but that does not mean I don't like this one but if your fan of Searh Lund and The Killing you won't like The Bridge. But it' very entertaining it's sad that all British tv is all Soaps and Big Brother where the BBC or Channel 4 should take note of these shows.

5.0 out of 5 stars Better than Chewin The Fat., 9 May 2011
This review is from: Burnistoun Series 1 [DVD] (DVD)
Burnistoun is the best comedy too come out,of Scotland since Rab C Nesbit and Naked Video TV.Has more of a Irvine Welsh style of cutting edge humor, like the early Fast Show series and Little Britain but gritter and darker.Way funner and better than anything that Chewin The Fat and the Karen Dunbar show has done so far.
