Rubbish. Impossible to control. Heli is trimmed, will not hoover - just goes into an increasing radius spiral before hurling itself into the nearest surface. Hasn't broken yet, mainly because it lives in a box in the garage.

I use this to empty my children's' paddling pool rather than tip it onto the lawn. Surprised how effective this pump is when used with a mains-powered drill.

Inadvertently used way too much, but no scorch, just strong steady lawn growth/rejuvenation over several weeks.

Having read the reviews of other drop spreaders I opted for a Sealy 27kg walk behind drop spreader, which I can thoroughly recommend. ~60, excellent quality, fine control, well worth the money.

I have a Plantronics M50 and although the audio quality is generally excellent, I don't find it comfortable to wear for long periods hence looking for an alternative.

The Voyager Pro (model B-230) has dreadful inbound audio ((difficult to describe, perhaps like the caller is talking while gargling) and doesn't appear to be fully compatible with iPhones (confirmed by Plantronics when I contacted tech support), even after upgrading the firmware. Item was returned and refunded.

On Plantronics advice I ordered the B235, but the inbound audio was the same as the Voyager Pro. However, a firmware upgrade appears to have cured the problem - it's early days, but first impressions are good. When on a call in a busy airport using my 5S the person I was talking to mentioned that my voice was being drowned-out by the background noise - switching to the Voyager Legend on they immediately said "wow, that's better". Seems that the triple filter mics really do make a difference.

The earpiece is very comfortable, the redesigned controls are far better than the Voyager Pro, the charging case is excellent, the desktop charger stand has sufficient mass to remain stable when clipping the earpiece in-out, and a travel USB charging cable is supplied as well. I regard this as a good value purchase.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very Nearly Perfect Laptop Backpack, 2 April 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I've been looking for a quality, compact laptop backpack for a long time. Too many are far too big for my needs, and rather than focussing on a backpack that tries too hard to cater for all needs (computer equipment, files, sufficient space for overnight clothes, etc) which results in me carrying a shapeless blob of unused volume, I wanted a pack that would just carry the essentials.

This is what I really like about this 'pack :

- Excellent build quality, for example, the nylon webbing is of a comparable grade to a car seat belt and the fabric for the body of the 'pack is of a substantial thickness. Feels like it is indestructible.

- Just the right number of internal compartments, usefully sized and located (arranged in layers) so that they don't 'clash'.

- Compact, not over-sized, and able to carry what I need as a minimum : 13" MacBook Pro in a LaRobe protective case (it's a snug fit, but it does fit), wireless mouse, charger and extension cable, travel-sized umbrella, business cards case, memory stick, earphones, pens, portable battery backup pack for iPhone etc, iPhone and iPad charging cables, wallet. With those items on-board, it's pretty much full, but very well organised. Lack of space for any significant paperwork, i.e. files, is a bonus for the most part - it prevents you from hauling too much weight.

- It stands up. Almost all of the backpacks that I have tried won't stand up unless stuffed to the gills. Put them down with the carry handle, and they fall over immediately. The Be.ez is a slim format but stands up, no problem.

- Its very comfortable to wear, and the lack of bulk is very noticeable.

The only downside is that, ironically, it is only JUST big enough. A bottle of drink would fit if I didn't need to take the umbrella, but a packet of sandwiches would get squashed. Another 10% volume and it would be perfect.

I highly recommend this backpack. It's not cheap, but the size, design and quality are pretty much spot-on if you are looking for thoughtful design, efficient use of space, and not just another massive bag.

Most of these storage containers are weird sizes, to the extent that I only use a few of them. Of the 17 items, I use 3 or 4. The rest are gathering dust.

The small containers are so small you can barely fit anything in them. The largest containers are pretty big - think full packed lunch box size. I have no idea what I'd use the tall containers for.

At least they were cheap. I wouldn't buy again.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good, But Not Perfect, 13 Feb 2014
I bought the Bose SoundLink Mini from a local Apple reseller - the price is the same as from Amazon, and it gave me the chance to get a demo.

It's a good piece of kit. The pros are obvious :

- Robust; well made. A quality piece of kit.
- Generally excellent audio - clear and no distortion.
- Easy initial pairing.
- Ideally sized to sit on the stand of my iMac - compliments the look and sound of the iMac very well.
- I'm getting a lot of use out of it - the portability factor is a big plus point.

Personally I don't think it's a 5 star product. Bose could improve the design and functionality in a few areas :

- There's no option for Aux-In via the Bose dock. Hard-wiring an Aux connection from the iMac would eliminate the significant video-audio lag (between 1 and 1.5 seconds) which renders films and music videos unwatchable until the video is paused and the audio is synchronised by shutting down the Bose and powering it up again - a real pain. Technically video-audio synch when audio is being streamed via Bluetooth is an OS X problem, not caused by Bose, but hard-wiring an Aux connection (via the Bose dock, rather than having to manually connect disconnect from the body of the Soundlink itself) would be very useful.

- The audio is very "Bose" i.e. bass-heavy, and adjusting EQ settings doesn't seem to make a huge difference. I would prefer a more balanced output.

- There have been several occasions where audio will not play via the Bose, despite the originating device having been previously paired and a Bluetooth connection being shown as active.

- I would prefer the dock to be a little heavier (to reduce slip when the Soundlink is being docked) and for it to engage a little more positively.

- Lack of a decent travel case seems miserly at this price point (and the official travel case, 38 !!, has not exactly been given glowing reviews).

A good product, definitely worth buying, and with a couple of tweaks it would be a knock-out.
