2.0 out of 5 stars This guy needs to get out ironic, 4 Oct. 2012
I took this book with me on holiday to inspire me for my next major tour. Unfortunately it did not do so. As another reviewer has stated, this guy is a grade one moaner. I really don't know why he bothered going to be honest if this is the sum of his experiences. I get the impression that this guy spent far too long driving lorries long distance and grew to like his own company too much.
He does visit some amazing places and see some amazing things but it is all made negative by his constant depressive anecdotes and complaining.
He has no real knowledge of cycling so don't expect any thoughts on technical aspects or relating to other cycle tours. I feel he did the trip to help himself become a better person after losing a girlfriend and being stuck in a job he dislikes. If it has, I'm pleased for him. If only it has had the same effect on his writing skills and outlook on life.

I give it two stars as it has some interesting aspects but if your looking for inspiration...don't bother

5.0 out of 5 stars my first and best, 11 Jan. 2005
This was the first dance CD i ever listened to and it still sounds as fresh as today. This is before afx went all 'f***ing scary' as one of my friends said to me when lsitening to drukqs. The tunes on here are perfect for a chill out after a rave or just to read to, not dance music, but if you've got some good bass equipment this would sound amazng and would make it dancable. The more you listen the more the depth of each track reveals itself. true master craftsmanship!

Ok, so people cant decide wether they like this album or not. All i have to say is if you have the chance to see the Prodigy tour in december your perceptions on the songs will change greatly, the prodigy will never be a sit at home and listen to band, they are a rave band and to fully appreciate their music i suggest you see them live, or at least go to a night in an abandoned warehouse where they'll be playing this stuff at the loudest sound levels possible.
This album has such a wide variety of styles and sounds that i can't see it failing in these environments, open your mind...
