5.0 out of 5 stars rough and live but it's definitely The Beatles, 6 Feb. 2012
Not many live recordings around the the Fab Four and especially not when they were at their most popular. Originally came out on vinyl in 1977 and remastered from the 2 concerts at The Hollywood Bowl in 1964/5 from 3! track masters that Capitol had recorded, trying to get a feel of a live concert. This was rejected at the time as the quality was not good. Years later, George Martin and Geoff Emerick decided to try and salvage enough material to give a good representation of them in concert. Well, it's a bit rough, and there's a lot of screaming, but it gives a pretty good idea of a Beatles concert. Made in Japan the sleeve quality is first class and gatefold. If you've really been looking for a good early live perfomance, this is it!

4.0 out of 5 stars Beatles unplugged, 6 Feb. 2012
Although not cheap this is probably one of the few demo recordings of The Beatles, specifically The White Album with a few other tracks besides. Recorded at George Harrisons house on his 4 track Ampex reel to reel. Although the recordings are rough(they were not planned for release)they are very enjoyable and insightful. These are Japanese copies and very good with excellant packaging(although a lot of info in Japanese)and there are sleeve notes in English with photo's of George at his house. If you're a completist then you will enjoy this. If you are looking for quality demo's or unplugged versions of the songs, then forget it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Ten Shekel's third long awaited album, 17 May 2009
This review is from: Jubilee (Audio CD)
Have loved this band since their first album "Much" in 2001.Challenging words in "It's Slavery" and "Higher Ground". Lamont Hiebert gives himself the title of Artist/Abolitionist as he heads up a charity to assist children out of slavery especially in SE Asia.
Don't let that put you off though if you thinks that's a bit grim. The songs are sensitive and thought provoking. The music is what has come to be expected of Ten Shekel Shirt. It's a lttle lighter than the two previous albums, but imagination and individuality has been put into the production.

4.0 out of 5 stars Certainly tough!, 17 May 2009
I always buy a cover for my mobile phone, so when a cover was on offer for my Sony NWZ-B135 Walkman I ordered at the same time. It fits perfectly and has a handy belt clip included. Sections are cut away for access to controls. One problem I have is removing the MP3 player from the case to plug into the USB on my PC. The transparent PVC window sticks to the player (as it can do on your mobile phone). You have to squeeze the cover and push through the cover from the USB end with a finger to remove the player. The leather does stretch after a while, so does make it easier. It also becomes a bit pricey once the p&p has been added on. Other than those two small gripes it does keep your MP3 protected.

5.0 out of 5 stars Much Pleased, 9 April 2009
Have now had my Sony NWZ-B135B MP3 for about 2 weeks. It has been brilliant in the car (just stereo 3.5 to 3.5 jack plug lead from player to car console) and just unlimited music while driving around in my job. Saves all those CD's I used to carry.
This is my first foray into the MP3 world and with the drag and drop system using Media Player it has been so simple to transfer my favourite music. Using the headphones I was impressed with the quality and the extra bass boost if needed. Display window very clear. Also very easy to erase music you don't want to listen to any more.
Have now bought one (in blue) for my wife for her to use in her car.
This is such a reasonable price if you want to experiment, but don't want to splash out a load of money on an ipod.
