5.0 out of 5 stars So good, I'll probably play it again, 29 Jun 2014
This is a stunner of a game, the weapon upgrades are excellent and needed as the baddies get harder as you go on (in the best gaming tradition), a really good mix of exploration, collecting stuff, little side collecting challenges (which I need seem to finish) and combat with a wide range of weapons allowing stealth and full on action depending on the weapons and upgrades you have. I like the way that the required XP and salvage you need is always not quite enough to get the upgrades you want, that's clever design.

The puzzles int he tombs and elsewhere are fun but not too taxing, maybe Lara gives a few too many clues in the dialogue as you are wandering about, but they are a relief. Great cut-scenes and good that you can skip them. This is one of those games that I might just play all the way through again!

1.0 out of 5 stars First impressions, 25 April 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Excellent bit of kit but two issues which prevent a 5 star rating: 1. You cannot set your own goals and 2. the heart rate monitor isn't always accurate - my resting heart rate is about 65 bpm but the pulse has shown it as 100 bpm twice in 24 hours. Also, the customer service from Withings is not great. I emailed them about the first problem, haven't had a reply yet but have had three confusing automated replies from them asking if I want to purchase a device and to reply to them if I need more assistance.

I've downgraded this from 3 to 1 star as I'm having so many problems after two months of ownership or so. It's incredibly inaccurate when won in the wrist strap to the point where you should not use it like that if you want an accurate step count - I've had it ignoring 90% of activity! Even when worn on the waist in it's clip it's not recording about 10-15% of steps, especially if you are doing short bursts of activity such as gardening or shopping. There seems to be something desperately wrong with their step counting algorithm that is causing this. Beware of their claims as the current firmware just doesn't cut it.

5.0 out of 5 stars It works well, 20 Jan 2013
Works really well with a Macbook Air and also with my Samsung Chromebook (which is what I bought it for). OK both these devices have WiFi built in so you could argue that you don't need one but when there is only a wired ethernet connection handy this is a perfect solution. It just works, no device drivers or anything to install and despite the included instructions giving a series of steps required to get it working on a Mac, you don't need them, it's just plug-and-play.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not full speed for SSDs, 15 Jun 2011
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Bought this and it is very good but only operates at 1.5 gbps not the full 3gbps which will throttle the operation of modern SSD Drives.

2.0 out of 5 stars No grey cartridge!, 18 Mar 2011
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I know it does say it on the advert but this is NOT a full set of cartridges for an MG6150 as it does not contain a grey ink cartridge and I was a bit miffed when I spotted this when it arrived. I assumed it was a complete complement or cartridges for the printer and it isn't. As such it's more expensive than I thought as you can buy a full set of 6 cartridges individually for a similar price.

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazingly quick, 22 Aug 2010
Bought this to speed up the removal of heavily weathered varnish and cut back two hardwood garden recliners and table back to bare wood ready for re-finishing. It's amazingly quick to remove what was taking ages with an orbital sander and manual sanding block from the flat areas. My problem was that removing the finish from the slats and particularly between the slats was going to take ages by hand, hence my purchase. Wow! The reviewers who claimed it is a little too visious are right if you don't use a fine belt and a light hand. My first couple of attempts with the coarse belt and a higher speed did result in a few millimeters more wood being taken off than I had realised but then it is a file, not a sander! Once you work out how to use it it is a great time saver. I stripped the first chair in a couple of hours, it was looking like taking me a few days without this.

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome mouse the middle button can be emulated on a Mac, 28 Sep 2007
I had been using an Apple Mighty Mouse but I was getting fed up of the little scroller ball getting gunged up and having to break apart the mouse to clean it (you actually have to break the mouse and superglue it back together!) so I thought I'd try one of these out. Functionality is fabulous and whilst Logitech have nicked the middle button for their smooth/clicky scrolling on/off function it is possible to assign one of the other buttons to the middle button on this mouse with the Logitech Control Centre software supplied for OS X.

I have scroll left assigned to expose, scroll right to the dashboard, the forward button assigned to navigate back in a web browser (I don't navigate forward very often) and the back button assigned to hiding all the windows. That means I can also leave the function keys on the Mac set to their media purposes and do a lot more with the mouse without having to reach for the keyboard.

Excellent product, the fast scrolling is brilliant the Mac Control Centre is soooo customisable. Well done Logitech!

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent, very funny., 7 Oct 2005
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
If you like wacky humour with a wicked satirical style, you'll love this book. I was reading it on the train to London the day it came out and was getting very odd looks from the people in the same carriage as I was laughing out loud at most of the items. It's a nice one to read in bits and is a bueatifully bound and presented book perfectly capturing the style of Ian's website but with fresh new material. Ok there are a few repeats from his website, but nothing like as many as I was expecting.
All in all, worth every penny of £6. Buy copies for all your relatives and friends for Christmas or upcoming birthdays, they'll love it!
