2.0 out of 5 stars NOT A UK PHONE!, 3 Mar 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This product was delivered with a German Manual, the phone set so that the user interface was set to German, with a 2 pin power adapter & without a BT compatible line connector.

That set with the addition of a 2-3 pin adapter, a US->BT line connector and a download of the English manual then changing the user language to English it works OK, (and my wife loves the colour). The response from Amazon Customer Service that "We got an update from our fulfilment centre that this item is for the german market with eu plug. " was less than helpful and the information on amazon.co.UK does not make it clear that you will have to spend extra money to get it to work in the UK!

5.0 out of 5 stars Wow!, 28 Mar 2012

Bought this as an upgrade from the Lumix TZ-20 and the title says it all - the autofocus is very much faster, the x20 rather than x16 is handy and the increased sensitivity and improved handling of backlit subjects are both incredible. Also nice to have is the maps facility but more of an improvement has gone into the GPS - on the TZ-20 it seemed to take forever to get a lock - by default it is much quicker now and the ability to use a computer to load the GPS positioning data so as to speed it up even more is a welcome addition.

In general, pin sharp, very smart and still small enough to carry all the time so you don't miss that magic picture because your camera was still in the bag/car/at home.

Still learning to use all the features and setting but very very happy - the optical zoom is amazing but when you turn on the extra zoom!!!

Upgraded from TZ10 - which I was very happy with - but can only say that the jump of 10 whole numbers is if anything an understatement.

Only possible critisism is that the manual is not very well organised - it often takes a bit of time to find what you would like to find.
