Can't get this out of my head. Heard it back in 2000 on their first tour of the UK and always wanted a decent recording of it. Very clever mix of the Ozzy classic and The Cure's 1989 single.

4.0 out of 5 stars where is the end section of Love Removal Machine?, 22 Feb. 2011
all in all a good package,I already own the dvd but seeing as this had the gig on cd I thought I'd get it.
only to be confused as to why the setlist was all over the place and where the end section of Love Removal Machine went to?!?!!

it's ok,but it could have been great.

only got into this band last year, but I have grown to love their entire work.

I bought this dvd thinking I would have to rip a copy to play on my dvd player, but it actually played on my region 2 dvd player.

I didn't know about the bonus audio disc of the concert either.

More than impressed.

The three videos are funny as well.

Good stuff.

5.0 out of 5 stars Probably the best album they have done so far.............., 1 Nov. 2002

From the opening bars of War(The Process) to the full on blitz of My Bridges Burn this is The Cult at their most enduring.
It's all here.
You like the slow songs like get like Horse Nation from Dreamtime you get American Gothic.
Or you just want them to be what they always we're in the fans eyes...the best UK rock band since Led Zeppelin.
Check out Breathe...the first time I heard this I got goosebumps.
Billy's guitar playing is just as good as in the Sonic Temple days, the guy who taught Johnny Marr no doubt, but did Marr ever play anything as good as the stuff on offer here?
Nope,don't think so.
Ian's voice is still as striking as ever.
No mistaking Ian when he is in full flight.
This album is pure 100% Cult.
Buy it,listen to it,love it!
Simple as that.
The Cult are the most under-rated UK rock band of all time.
They deserve your time to appreciate them.

5.0 out of 5 stars Damn fine record!, 20 July 2002

Ahhh the sound of a good band.
Alot of people only think of Big Country as the band who could make guitars sound like bagpipes.
Also Scotland is the other thing that comes to peoples minds too.
This album originally released in 1993 stands out as a return to form.
The previous 2 albums where abit of a let down,Peace In Our Time(1988) and No Place Like Home(1991) just didn't have enough drive or tunes to them. This album packs a hefty punch.
The great opening tune 'Alone' starts things off very well,Stuart's lead guitaring throughout has to be heard to be believed. It's such a shame his amazing talent went so unnoticed.
The guitar solo in 'Chester's Farm' is absolutely stunning.Fast, but not a stupid waste of notes like so many guitarists seem to do.Ohhh look I can make the guitar sound like a swarm of angry bees!!!
All in all if you like the Big Country of the first 3 albums this should get the blood pumping again.
Shame Stuart had to take his own life, the last album 'Driving To Damascus' was also hinting that more great things where to come.

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome, 22 Nov. 2001
This is a very good history of one of the most under-rated bands of all time.
Most of the videos are here, only The End Is The Beginning Is The End video appears to be missing, but that is ok when you see what is on offer.
There are a multitude of extras on offer, behind the scenes on all of the videos with the option of running commentary or music.
The live stuff is cool too, very good sound throughout and the slickness of the title screens makes this a joy to watch.
The video for Untitled is different to the one being shown on MTV it is a look at the band recording the song, and it is hidden too,so have fun looking for it.
This is well worth the money, anyone who likes the band will love this.

4.0 out of 5 stars An Underestimated Album, 15 July 2001
This review is from: Ceremony (Audio CD)
This Album got slated when it was released, but I bought it anyway. If you like Love and Sonic Temple then you will love what is on offer here. This is a great album, tracks like Earth Mofo and Wild Hearted Son are as good as Fire Woman and Sun King. This is an album that asks that you take time and listen, there is a lot of hidden beauty here. In songs like White and If true emotions awesome guitar and vocals, crying out to be heard. In Full Tilt it is a step back to the AC/DC sound of Electric,so there is something here for all Cult fans. I love this album,no matter what the music press said at the time,it has to be heard to be appreciated.
