WE FEW REVIEW, 1 Jun. 2010
I had come across this trilogy accidentally,as I listen to many audio books while driving. "March Upcountry " was the first book by D. Weber and John Ringo I had listened to and the pace and general feel of the book was similar to Matthew Reilly's books, which I also like.
If you like fast action, creative science fiction situated in unusual worlds, don't mind a little blood and gore,(not too much), and enjoy the heroes to be real macho, cool guys and gals who can do anything, and who stay on the right side of "doing good", then you should enjoy this book.
It was fun to accompany the main characters on this long journey, and when, after listening to "March Upcountry" and "March to the Sea", the library couldn't supply the last book, I had to buy this to see how it all ended. No disappointment there.
Thanks for reading my review. Heidi
