The 8th book in the Parish and Richards series was very good. I particularly liked the interaction between Blake and Stick and look forward to reading more about them in the future.

The book moved along very well until near the end. It seemed to have a rushed finish. I took to the sergeant Blake character in spite of her constant s

5.0 out of 5 stars Am excellent easy read, 31 Dec 2013

I must say that I continue to enjoy Tim Ellis's work. I very much like the banter between Parish and Richards. I was saddened by Lola's demise as I feel that she could have continued in future books. It was also a pity that Parish wasn't appointed chief but understandable as then he would have been desk bound. Already started reading the next book in the series.

Absolutely excellent, pretty well mimicking the recent phone hacking scandal with operation Red Head, with a truly spectacular ending. Looking forward to the next Inspector Carlyle Novel.

I enjoyed the book immensely. it builds up to a very good climax which is somewhat far fetched. I have to say that I am now getting somewhat irritated by by Richards constantly saying "you are so mean" to parish? Non the less I am very much looking forward to reading book number 4,

5.0 out of 5 stars what a great riveting story, 20 Oct 2013

A super read, with a plot that was so realistic. Bio warfare is a real threat, the scenario set by Peter May was very plausible.
