4.0 out of 5 stars World War 2, Vampires, Russians, Computers, Runes, TOO COMPLEX!!!, 25 Jun 2006
Can I get to the good aspects of Fenric:

It is by far the most frightning Classic 'Doctor Who'

The acting is quite strong

Good Writing

Sophie Aldred knickers on show!

Bad aspects:

The story is far too complex.

The reason this story is praised is because it is the best of season 26, but ti's too complcated to understand, even if you miss one minutes of it. It is by far one of the better McCoy stories(definately better than 'Dragonfire', 'Time And The Rani' and 'Silver Nemesis')but not in the class of 'Remembrance Of The Daleks', 'Battlefield' 'Survival' and 'The Greatest Show In The Galaxy'.

It is good, but, as I've stated-

don't take all the praise for granted!

5.0 out of 5 stars The Dalek Invasion Of Greatness, 18 Jun 2006
With the exception of Genesis, Remembrace and Evil, The Daleks Invasion Earth is the best dalek story, mainly because it seems to move at a good pace ans it doesn't include Davros (I dislike Davros, which is why I like the short apperance of him in Remembrace), but the downside is the dodgy Dalek saucer.

The Extras on disc 2, are possibly the best on any DVD.

5.0 out of 5 stars The REAL 25th celebration story, 18 Jun 2006
When you look at the 'Doctor Who' era of Sylvester McCoy, you think of junk like 'Time And The Rani' 'Delta And The Bannermen' and 'Silver Nemesis', the silver year celebration story. But you overlook masterpieces of television like 'The Curse Of Fenric' 'Battlefield' 'Survival' 'The Greatest Show In The Galaxy' and this. This is possibly the standout of the McCoy years, and this stories Daleks are much more menacing than the newer 'Daleks'. Sophie Aldred is my favorite companion and Sylvester is possibly my favorite Doctor. This should have been the story to celebrate 'Doctor Who's' 25th year.

Come on, buy it! You'd be mad not to.

2.0 out of 5 stars A disapointing return, 7 April 2006
With the Cybermen off screen for 7 years you would think a fantasic story would show the comeback to remember. It was...for the worst. This is not even better than 'The Visitation' which is described as 'dull'. The better return is from the Daleks in 'Ressurection Of The Daleks' and Davison's bow off in 'The Caves Of Androzani'. A disapointment of a DVD this is.

1.0 out of 5 stars Watch this if your brains dead!, 10 Feb 2006
I've never liked the Cybermen, and this is why! The story is crap, why would people look for creatures trying to kill them. And the Cybermen were very lucky that did happen. There are better Troughton storys like 'The Mind Robber'. Buy one of those and not live through this dribble!
