4.0 out of 5 stars Good Kit, 28 Jun. 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
The kit arrived promptly. I have not had chance to use it anger but did check it was working and it was all fine. I just need to decide on a project for my Son and I to get our teeth into.

3.0 out of 5 stars Some valid points but not great, 9 Jun. 2011
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Warrior (Paperback)
The book makes valid points initially but I found it a bit repetitive
and a little cult like in places. The places where God and Money are
covered I found a little strange. At one point the author also discusses
leaving old friends behind and making new ones who are more in line with
your positive attitude.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Book, 16 Feb. 2011
This book re-confirmed to me many things that I thought were true but had never had much experience of.
Martial Arts is a great thing to do, but many do not understand how far removed it is from
real life. This book discusses this and explains why, backed up by someone who has more experience
than most in real life confrontation.
The different mindsets of attackers and victims, the perception of 'permission' that victims have when
needing to defend themselves, is very interesting.
I am lucky to have instructors that understand this fully and constantly remind you about 'real' life from
personal experience (which is consistent with this book) and not a perception built up from media images etc.
It is re-assuring to hear this from another source.
