5.0 out of 5 stars Want to play paintball without paying £100 for every session, 1 April 2004
This review is from: Laser Virtual Paintball (Toy)
I used to go down to the paintballing woods 8 miles away, but it cost me £50 per person to use the grounds, and then there's the actual equiptment... At home, i kept wishing i could play paintball without the hassle of paying and going there, and this, my friends was the answer!
All you have to do is set it up and you have 1 on 1 fun, but if the back garden doesn't settle, then just go to the woods or park, i know everyone has their own opinion, but trust me if your into paintballing or anything like that this is a must-have!

5.0 out of 5 stars SWAT - Global Amazement Strike Team!, 28 Mar. 2004
When i first got this game i didn't really think it looked that good, but then it got to me, the amazing graphics, the awesome weapons, the fun co-operative play, the great missions, the pure adiction! I will not say you could not get a better game, that would be lying, but almost every part of this game has an amazing up side...
When i started playing on the missions they seemed pretty easy, but when i got to the fourth or fifth, i mas quite stunned by how you had to perfect the older missions, that put me out of cocky attitude... Once you have finally completed the first missions to perfection, you can move on to the harder ones, the guys are tougher, not gunna give up so easly, and the mission longer, but that wasn't a problem, still had me gawping at the screen for two hours a day, and i'm not even a gamer addict!
All in all you should buy this game, not if your depending on multiplayer to get you through an afternoon with your mates though, becasue they may be fun but after a half hour of playing i had swapped games...

5.0 out of 5 stars So utterly awesome it's unbeatable!, 5 Feb. 2004
It is very, and i mean very bouncy! Some people are scared of doing flips or tricks because they dont have enough time in the air, with this trampoline this is solved very soon! It also keeps you fit as you soon get addicted to it! It is also very durable abart from some strange sounds i have heard after about three months. But my dad, who is a mechanic has confirmed that these sounds have no effect on the actual durability! After oiling the sounds had vanished. It is an awesome toy for anyone with any size garden.

5.0 out of 5 stars A truly great book., 3 Jan. 2004
This review is from: Groosham Grange (Paperback)
This book is a bit wacky, but apart from that it is very good.
In the first chapter you meet the family of David, they are very wierd and seem to not care about being stabbed with a knife, as a desperate meseour after david is expeled from school they send him Groosham Grange, he hates it and he instantly knows something is wronge, signing your name in blood, and then he finds out his teacher goes somewhere every full moon. It has a very wacky and wierd twist to it, a little bit sick, but funny.
This book has exelent use of words and when he feels pain or something, you literaly feel it with him, it is so realistic. This was the best book i had read in a long time, i couldnt stop reading it. The characters are funny, and wierd.
However, this book just takes too long to read, for some wierd reason and after a while you start to get bored of it. Also when you have read it once it tends to lie forgoten, you wont want to read it again.
Dont get me wronge, it is a very good book, but it simply takes too long to read.

4.0 out of 5 stars OK - GOOD Rating, 2 Jan. 2004
This book, is not so good as the first, but seeing as it is a follow up, it is actually quite good. David eliot hated this school in the last story, but because he is winning the award of power, he isnt going to let it be ruined. Not by some kid, Vincent, who seemes quite suspicious to David, in getting the award off david, and in making the school fall. Worst of all, knowone else seemes to be noticing!

5.0 out of 5 stars Secrets and Suprises!, 2 Jan. 2004
This book is fabulaus, it is full of suprises that make you jump and laugh and even spill your hot chocolate like i did. I find that if you hear the stories before you read the book it ruins the suprising element, but really, get this book.

4.0 out of 5 stars Four big ones and a few little., 2 Jan. 2004
Simpsons on parade comic was the fifth one i got and it totaly outbeat the rest. There are four big stories and a few little ones. My favourite is the one about Mayor Quimby and the magical washing powder! When The parade comes to town Lisa is so exited, but to her disbelief, none of the rest of Springfiels is, i suppose this story was ok. Most of the little comics come after this and then there is the one with the mayor and marge. Marge gets herself on TV because of her washing powder formular and she washes all the stains off a really tough piece of work. News presenter Kent Brockman isnt pleased to be forced off air so he gets his revenge, Marge and guess who are seen kissing. Then guess who goes along with the story. When marge finds out she is devestated, but not so devestated she doesnt have time to get her revenge, live on TV. It is so funny! The one about two policemen, one of them not being springfiels well known guv is the worst, it lets the book down just a tiny bit. On the last story Sideshow Bob desides the children need seat belts, when he is refused he desides to bomb the bus if it goes to fast or to slow and send little Bart Simpson into Space. This is for sure the best book i have read in a long time. On the other hand, the short stories are not so good and in my version the pictures where a tiny bit faded, but apart from that an brilliant buy!

3.0 out of 5 stars This really is a strike back in history for simpsons comics., 2 Jan. 2004
O.K. , this is how it happens, you wait for it for ages, you are really exited, and then it turnes out to be, Well i hate to say it, because, most simpsons comics are awesome, but BORING! It has four stories, as well as a load of little ones and only one of the stories would actualy get a high ranking with me, 'A Trip To Simpson Montain'. Basicly, if you have a load of money and just want anything, get this. However if you are surviving on pocket money rations, don't wast your money. Try another simpsons comic or just wait for them on TV!

5.0 out of 5 stars Up On Cloud Nine When You Read This!, 2 Jan. 2004
A thirteen year old fasion diva, who is going to miss out on the best holiday ever, let alone her only one, dread. And then she finds out she is going to have her future busted if dhe doesn't do some serious work. As if being hit over by a couple of joy riders isn't bad luck, even if heaven is liturely heaven, life isn't that easy.
'Winging It' is so cool, fun and exiting, even emotional at some points.
'Losing The Plot' exams are passed and now she has a second mission, where she has to save a rather cute looking boy!
'Flying High' is in my opinion a very good story, even if it is a bit unfair for the trouble-shooting angle.
