4.0 out of 5 stars All's Well That Ends Not So Well..., 19 Aug 2014

Great book. I read this in one sitting. Fans of John Steinbeck, Raymond Carver, Willy Vlautin et al should enjoy this immensely.

5.0 out of 5 stars Richard Buckner, 20 Jun 2014

This review is from: Meadow (Audio CD)
If you haven't heard Richard Buckner then you should. If you have and haven't yet bought this album then buy it. Buckner has a knack of melody that isn't obvious but it drills it's way into your head and refuses to leave. Imagine Mark Lanegan and Nick Drake had a love child you might be getting close but it's more than the some of those 2. Highly recommended!

Great continuation of the story. Good, strong characters and as believable situations you're gonna find in a Zombie novel. Thoroughly recommended!

1.0 out of 5 stars Oh dear..., 9 May 2013
I bought this for my kindle as a 'filler' while waiting for the next installment of 'The Remaining'. I got about 2 chapters in and gave up. Very amateurish, childlike writing. Avoid.

5.0 out of 5 stars It's not Shakespeare..., 6 April 2013
This review is from: The Remaining (Kindle Edition)
but you wouldn't be reading this review if you wanted 'Hamlet' or 'Othello'. This is just a great Zombie novel in the tradition of Romero but updated for the 21st century. The author's clear knowledge of weapons and warfare add a realism to the proceedings. Recommended!

1.0 out of 5 stars Shockingly Bad..., 20 Feb 2013
I gave up about 20 pages in. The author (and his son) obviously have no real interest in The Stone Roses and are out to make a quick buck. More spelling mistakes and untruths than you can shake a stick at and that's just in the first 20 pages! If you have any love for The Roses then stay well clear. You have been warned!

Just ordered it. If it's half as good as the 'PODS' cd, it'll be mighty fine!!

5.0 out of 5 stars FUN!, 8 Oct 2004
This review is from: HELP! [VHS] (VHS Tape)
That's what's in this package. No serious message, no brutal revelations; just fun, historic fun. From a time when the Beatles (and a whole generation) took themselves less seriously, HELP! provided the soundtrack to many of our lives and times.
Ringo's life is imperiled by an ancient sacrificial ring stuck on his finger. The ring makes him the target of a group of hilariously demented oriental mystics, who chase the boys from London to the Swiss Alps to the Bahamas.
But wait! There's more to this perfectly restored classic than meets the eye - namely an electrifying encoded Hi-Fi soundtrack, adding an unprecedented dimension to the original songs: HELP! "You're Gonna Lose That Girl," "You've Got to Hide Your Love Away," "Ticket to Ride," "I Need You," "Another Girl" and "The Night Before".
The visual execution of these songs is incredibly stylish - so just relax and experience this movie event, and let the memories of a lost era flood your mind!

Did You Hear That
Did You Hear That

5.0 out of 5 stars They've shut down the Main Reactor!, 29 April 2004
This review is from: Did You Hear That (Audio CD)
Comp Cd featuring pretty much all the releases before the 'Last Call For The Dancers' Album. The first single was shocking. The second better. The third probably the best. The fourth was ok but not as good as the third. The best place to buy Crackle Records is Crackle Records. Type it into Google and there you go! Try the following for more of the same... 7 Driver [Vinyl 12] [VINYL]
