5.0 out of 5 stars Review of "Getting Our Way", 20 Dec. 2009
I thought reading Sir Christopher Meyer's book was more exciting than reading a thriller. How interesting the subject of Diplomacy, politics, and International Affairs.
It bears out my thoughts that War is about Stealing other Countries Wealth and Property, and always has been, however ,those words have been couched differently in his book;and that is -as Clauswitz said and has reminded Leaders that'War is the extension of politices by other means".The Political goal being to confiscating resouces to a Belligerent ,and possibly Global bully. Afghanistan being an example.
I consider this to be a very important book to read for those who have an interest in History and Diplomacy.
David Jennings.
