5.0 out of 5 stars A winner, 8 Dec 2010
= Durability:4.0 out of 5 stars  = Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars  = Educational:3.0 out of 5 stars
My daughter received these two years ago and they are an absolute hit from 1year olds to 7year olds (have yet to see whether the fun continues past 7)! It's the first thing visiting children pick up and they have been played with every day since they arrived in this house. The only negative is that it is best not to stand on the cone as despite being fairly rigid, it can get squashed!

5.0 out of 5 stars Fabulous knitting book, 8 Dec 2010
How refreshing to purchase a knitting book that has more than two things in it you actually like! Nearly every pattern is to my taste and I have convinced 4 other knitters to purchase it. Patterns are easy to follow and it's great to have some quick knits as well as longer ones. I love that there is such a range of sizes in the patterns (one jumper goes from 2yr child to Men's xl) and such a variety for varying skill levels. The only negative is that it demands all sorts of needles I do not have (and I have hundreds). Amazing what some dowel and a pencil sharpener delivers in terms of cheap, large double ended neeedles! An all round fantastic buy.

4.0 out of 5 stars A charming read, 22 Oct 2010
This review is from: The Little Witch (Paperback)
Although aspects of the text are slightly off putting (it is essentially written as a study text with highlighted words and translations in it)and some of the English translation is a bit odd, my 5 year old daughter absolutely loved it just as I did at that age. A charming and gentle collection of tales introducing the concept of good and bad with humour greatly appreciated by the younger listener.
