5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful Memories of a Wonderful Season, 7 Jun 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This is a book that will appeal to all Liverpool supporters young and old. It is the history of what turned out to be a fantastic season under the stewardship of Joe Fagan. Tony has written it in a way that captures the reader in an enthralling way and it is one of those books that you can simply not put down. I would and have recommended to everyone I know who enjoys reading.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Very Truthful and Well Written Book, 2 July 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This book reveals all it can about what can happen to a footballer on and off the pitch. As Craig said when the book was published, I have told the truth, because there is no point in writing a book without doing so. It is an absolutely fantastic read, very absorbing and is a must for every football supporter - it does not matter who you support. It also highlights his involvement in teaching the boys of Sierra Leone about football. He also ensures that they receive a good education and I really hope that his charity goes from Strength to strength. The book has been ghost written by the Mirror's Chief Football Writer, Oliver Holt and is extremely well written, which again ensures that the reader is kept interested from the first word to the last.

5.0 out of 5 stars An Abolute Must Read, 5 May 2009
43 years with the Same Bird. This is a brilliantly written book - The trials and tribulations of an ardent football fan - something that I can fully appreciate and understand. Brian Reade charts his story from a
young boy to the devout fan he is today in a wonderfully heartfelt way. It is a must for every Liverpool fan to read. Thank you Brian for such a great read.
