5.0 out of 5 stars Strange but very interesting, 29 Sep 2010
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Bought this a result of other reviews on amazon.co.uk . It's a strange ecclectic mixture of blues, folk rock, psychedelic rock et al. It's well worth a listen and I have bought 3 more copies of it for Xmas presents for old survivors of the 60's and 70's that I know!

5.0 out of 5 stars Strange and riveting, 11 Dec 2009
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Sometimes the characters come across as a little "well-to-do" and spoiled but excellently written and an absolute page-turner. I don't know if it was a ghost story or a psychological thriller or what but its narrative kept me involved throughout and its strange menance hung on for days after having finished reading it. Thoroughly recommended!

1.0 out of 5 stars Load of Rubbish, 23 July 2009
I had hoped that Vegas would let me combine AVCHDlite & AVCHD movies into a single production. Everything seems to work but after adding the next format item the preview screen went black and had no picture and the produced video is black as well! As usual the video capabilities in the PC is found wanting! Perhaps I will just buy a Mac!!!! Why can't the software producers get it right for a change! Avoid!

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent but taxing, 21 Sep 2007
This review is from: Cloud Atlas (Paperback)
This book was hard work, each disjointed episode was confusing and difficult to read; each transition from time to other time was discordant; the bit written in "pidgin english" (or something like that) was especially hard going but sticking to it was worth doing. Excellent book, well worth the excellent reviews, stick to it and read it to the end.

1.0 out of 5 stars Dreadful, 21 Sep 2007
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: The Iron Stone (Audio CD)
As a lifelong ISB supporter I bought this since I liked "The Iron Stone" and "Yellow Snake" from the original ISB records. It is simply ghastly, discordant, unstructured and so on. It has been the shortest Amazon -> My Record Collection -> Charity shop of all time! If that's really an act of charity I am not too sure!!!
