This Book Is Full Of Spiders really seems like a step forward for Wong. Just as interesting, unique and mildly disturbing as the first novel, TBIFOS is much more streamline in it's story and not as messy and disjointed as it's predecessor. I honestly look forward to more.
If you enjoyed John Dies at the End buy this now!

I got through it within a couple of days, pushed by a genuinely interesting read. Some wonderful characters and a satisfying ending.

3.0 out of 5 stars Almost a step back, 10 Nov. 2013

While yes, the tracks are good, they're not much more than that. The mixing comes into questions with Pip's vocals barely being heard over Le Sac's thumping beats, only sounding crisp on the two tracks that stand out, Stunner and Gold teeth which they seem to know and they're the tracks pushed to videos.
Then there is the format, the album sounds the same on shuffle as in order, lacking any real direction in itself. As well as the actual formatting, which could very well just be Amazon's fault, of having they're two collab tracks under completely separate artists. Which just annoys me on a personal level.
I guess my real issue is that it doesn't feel like an album, these are the tracks presented when they speak to a production company to have they're album made or the short mixtape of an amateur which is a shame because dlsVsp are no amateurs, they just seem a little bored.

Runaways Volume 9: Dead Wrong Digest

2.0 out of 5 stars Dead wrong indeed., 30 Mar. 2013

Ramos brings nothing to the art for The Runaways. His characters all look asexual and alike, damaging the look and feel of Alphona's Runaways. Terry Moore continues the story but doesn't seem to understand the characters, yes they are teenagers and young adults but they've also caused the fall and death of their villain parents leaving them only with each other, that certainly matures someone. Especially a character like Molly Hayes who seems to have grown five years younger.
The Runaways carries on but not like it once was.
