I saw BOTB 2 at the cinema (probably one of a handful that saw it in the UK)
Its a great film if you enjoy the cheesey karate revenge films of that ilk, However in the cinema version there was a looong fight scene with the guy who used his ponytail as a weapon which has been cut in every version I have seen since.
This was a time when the UK banned anything to do with nunchakas (Enter the Dragon, the cartoon Thundercats and even Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles, as they had to be called in the UK)

I have no idea if this scene has been reinstated since, but its worth doing your homework to find out , or buy the USA version to see the complete film.

3.0 out of 5 stars Just a Quick point rather than a review...., 2 Nov 2009
The picture in the listing shows the film as an 18 cert but it is in fact a 15. The film is average and does pretty much what it says on the tin....typical 'leave brain at door' teenage bawdy comedy romp.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great Game ...But Impossible., 18 July 2009
= Fun:4.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Casino Empire (PC CD) (Video Game)
This is a really good little game in the traditon of the standard theme/tycoon type game. It has some really fun touches, like watering down your liquor to keep the drunks spending in your bars, and is quite addictive. I still go back to this game 3 months after I bought it, but thats because Its impossible to finish. I am on the final level and only got to this stage with some money cheats off the interweb. The game is quite formulaic and so once you know what it takes to complete a level you are pretty much ready and off but the time frame given for the second half of the levels is so short that I cannot figure a way out to get the necessary customers thru the doors to meet the win criteria. The money cheat let me buy everything available in the game but still no joy, "build it and they won't come anyway !" . There is a small clue on the back cover of the case as to the right strategy (which I didnt follow for ages)but precious little help on the internet if you need it.
I really like this game, its amusing, simple and addictive but the difficulty curve is way out. The first half of the levels are a walk-over once you've learned what each icon is and the second half are so hair pullingly difficult that I can imagine many a monitor being kicked in out of rage. Give it a go tho , even if you hate it , at these prices have you lost out on anything ?
Oh and once its installed you dont need the disk so you can lend it to a mate or resell it on and get your money back...works on vista too.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not bad for the 0.99 I paid for it but not worth more., 16 Dec 2008
= Fun:2.0 out of 5 stars
This is annoying. The casino games themselves are pretty good, much better than the so called "pull" of the game, the dancers (poor poor poor).
The worst element is that there is only one save game to create. In other words you can save your game at anytime but it has to overwrite your previous game. If you quit it automatically overwrites your save game with the game you just quit. So you need to split the game into 2 halves.
Get halfway thru the game, save then complete the game from there. VERY VERY annoying.

A faithfull interpretation of the original board game. I am having some issues with gameplay but then I hardly ever read manuals and just dive straight in.

4.0 out of 5 stars Runs fine on Vista, 16 Dec 2008
= Fun:3.0 out of 5 stars
A "whodunnit" with a basic cluedo theme. Visually its pretty good considering its age and cost, gameplay is s-l-o-w tho so patience is required. Not the sort of game you could just whack on for 20 mins here and there. A few hours at a time is ideal. Having said that I am stuck very early on in the game, which means I will have to go and try every possibility with every interactive character/item grrrr. In a nutshell a good game and I have enjoyed it but would like it to move along faster.

3.0 out of 5 stars Actually Quite Fun, 16 Dec 2008
= Fun:3.0 out of 5 stars
I bought this for about 3 inc P&P just as a bit of nostalgic fun. It was a gamble as it had been years since I played the board game and also because I run Vista and had no idea if it would actually work. It plays perfectly, is visually pleasing and actually quite a bit of fun. There have been elements taken out of the original which came as a bit of a shame and an option to play it as the basic board game would have been good. It also seems that the best strategy is to try to go as slowly as possible (not that you have any influence over that) as I cannot see what advantage is to be gained by arriving at the end point first. In the board game you recieved an income whilst waiting for other players to finish. In this version you just seem to be waiting and hoping that the other players will rack up fines whilst you are waiting for them to catch up. Unless I am missing something obvious.

That this runs fine on Vista in case that was a deciding factor for anyone considering buying this. Only played 5 minutes but looks good so far.

But the game play can be annoying. For instance in can be very difficult to see clearly on the board exactly who owns what. Apart from that its monopoly. The advantage being , how often do you manage to get 3 friends in the same place for long enough for a game to be competed in real life ?
