5.0 out of 5 stars Thought provoking. A must read for all those involved in development work in UK or abroad, 4 Jun. 2012
This review is from: Walking With the Poor (Paperback)
A challenging but incredibly helpful look at transformational development, especially as undertaken by Christians. Up to date theory on development is combined with a radical look at how genuine transformational development is worked for in all types of community. There is no question that is not posed to test the motivation of the Christian seeking to work out his or her call to love your neighbour amongst the poorest.

5.0 out of 5 stars A "must read"!, 4 Oct. 2011
It is undoubtedly a revealing book about someone who is for so many of us an endless source of fascination, whether what we feel about him is generally positive or indeed negative. But more than that this book is a fizzing canter through a clever collation of insightful experiences of one life, the influences on it and those of it.Utterly fascinating, most enriching!
