For their 4th album, Orion keeps impressing us with some subtle, delicate and refined nuances in their records.

Blu-Ray all zone
Before we start, Warner Bros only produced one edition which is Zone Free.
So whoever say that it is a Bluray disc encoded in Zone A only either haven't verified themselves or are lying !!
How intelligent they are !!

In this "box-set", you shall find:
- disc 1 & 2 -> 9 episodes each
- disc 3 -> the remaining 8 episodes + the bonuses
- each episode lasts 22:50, total -> 593min and 40sec

Ratio of the episodes:
1.78:1

Language for all the episodes:
- DTS Master Audio 5.1: English
- Dolby 2.0: Latin Spanish, English audio commentary

Subtitle for all the episodes:
- English for the hard of hearings.

Verdict:
Perfect picture and sound for this new adventure of Wolverine and his teammates.
To summarize, it's Days of Future Past but in better !
Unlike the film, there is no time constraint and obviously with 594 minutes, we have plenty of time to see more of our favorite heroes in action and develop the characters personality.

All-in-one, a fantastic story-line with some great characters and development for all fan of the X-Men.
The only downside is why there is not a second season.
Especially when it stops with a cliffhanger.

NB: Spanish subtitle is only available for the intro of a few episodes which are un-dubbed, this only concerns the summary of the previous episodes.

This review is from: Blue Room (Audio CD)
After the album '1990', Orion released their second album -> Blue Room.
It is another trip in first class through the Celtic land bringing all the richness of the Irish musical heritage.
With their abilities, these fantastic musicians reinterpret, add new compositions worthy of that Celtic heritage and manage to convincingly update the arrangements of classic tunes.
A Great edition.

The 12 tracks:

2. Bully Wully Jig / The Unknown Jig (comp. Raquel Gigot/comp. Rudy Velghe) - 3'42

4. Blue Room (comp. Raquel Gigot) - 3'35
5. Bowe's Favourite / Garry Kennedy's (traditional) - 4'32
6. Polska from Sweden / Quilter's Delight (traditional) - 5'05
7. Vitocha / Gare aux Bulles! / Hora de Goïcia (trad / comp. R. Velghe / trad) - 3'25
8. Leaving the Ceili / The Mouse in the Kitchen / Irish Girl (comp. R. Velghe / comp. R. Gigot / trad) - 4'47
9. Squire Parsons / James Betagh (T. O'Carolan - 18th century) - 4'21

5.0 out of 5 stars Languages & Verdict, 13 July 2015
Discs -> Zone A and B

On disc 1 -> only the film
On disc 2 -> full of bonus

Length of the Theatrical Cut: 132 minutes
Length of the Rogue Cut: 149 minutes

Languages for both cut of the feature film:
- DTS Master Audio 7.1: English
- Dolby 5.1: European French, Latin Spanish
- Dolby 2.0: One commentary for each cut both featuring Bryan Singer
Extra track for the Theatrical Cut:
- Dolby 5.1: English Descriptive Audio

Subtitles for both cut:
- Spanish, commentaries subtitled in English
- English for the hard of hearings.
Subtitles for the bonus disc:
- English, Spanish, French, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, German, Italian, Norwegian, Portuguese, Swedish, Czech, Korean, Thai
and simplified and traditional Chinese.

Verdict:
With a perfect picture and sound, it is a fantastic edition with some interesting bonus.
Whereas one could have hoped for some major development in one of the characters or tricks in order to win, the truth is the added scenes do not add much to the story-line unfortunately.
X-Men: First Class was spectacular by using our History-line by the mean of the Cuban Crisis plus a spectacular final fight.
Here, no JFK assassination apart from the fact it is mentioned and the end is not as spectacular.
Wolverine does not even destroy much in this film compare to all his previous apparition
So let's hope the next film will be more powerful !! More titanesque in scale !!

NB: the Rogue Cut is fully dubbed either in French or in Spanish.

In this "boxset", you shall find:

Ratio of the episodes:
1.78:1

Language for all the episodes:
- DTS Master Audio 2.0: English

Subtitle for all the episodes:
- English for the hard of hearings.

Verdict:
Perfect picture and sound for this new adventure of Green Lantern.
If you have a home-cinema, the stereo sound can enhanced in a powerful surround mode, a fantastic soundtrack if used in that mode.
You have 2 stories (or 2 seasons) with the first one ending at the end of episode 13.
If you like colours, you shall see all the existing Lantern Corps, trust me that's a lot of colours !!!
Otherwise, a good story-line for all fan of the Green Lantern.

NB: not single bonus, only the 26 episodes.

5.0 out of 5 stars Celtic Music, a true feast for our ears, 31 Mar. 2015
This review is from: 1990 (Audio CD)
This album was first recorded in 1990, the tunes are played with great sensitivity.
Orion is a band that specialises in Celtic music with a preference for the dreamy rather the rowdy.
Four musicians thoroughly accomplished do have the feel for the soul of this music and are a worthy exponent of Irish music.
Orion serve up a delicious feast for our ears.

The 10 tracks:
1. Lady Gethin / Henry McDermott Roe (Turlough O'Carolan - 18th century)
2. Russian Recipe (comp. Wim Vanden Eede)
3. Coachman's Whip / The Stranger at the Gate (Vincent Broderick / Benedict Kochler)
4. Bobby Casey's Tune
5. Eddy Kelly's Jig / Tom Billy's Jig
6. Swedish Waltz / An Phaistin Fionn
7. Mousite en Vol / The Yellow Tinker (comp. Wim Vanden Eede / trad)
8. London Lasses / The Bird's Nest
9. Mr Malone (T. O'Carolan - 18th century)
10. Coming from behind the Tree (comp. Wim Vanden Eede)
Total running time -> 41:52

For those who adore Orion's work and score, their 3 following discs:
- Blue Room
- Restless Home
- Strawberry Hill

This American blu-ray is all zone

Ratio of the feature film:
1.33:1

Languages of the feature film:
- DTS Master Audio 5.1: English
- Dolby 2.0: European French, German, Swedish, Latin Spanish and Audio Commentary

Subtitles for all the videos:
- French, Latin Spanish, German, Swedish and English for the Hard of Hearing

Verdict:
Not only, the picture is presented in its original ratio but also, we have the definite and original cut of the film with the 4 extra minutes.
The picture and sound are excellent for this uncut version of the story.
A few shots are a little bit pixelated but apart from that, this presentation is prefect.
The good part is that we can hear our favorite voices:
- Kevin Conroy is Bruce Wayne as usual
- Mark Hamill dubs the Joker and also Jordan Price, the want-to-be CEO of Wayne's Enterprises, a clue maybe...
- Michael Rosenbaum, the Lex Luthor of Smallville and who also dubs Flash in the Justice League lends his voice for Ghoul, the bad guy who resembles Scarecrow

As a bonus, the DVD of the uncut feature film:
- All zone DVD, 4/3 encoding but 1.78:1 ratio picture.
- Dolby 5.1: English
- Subtitles: English and French.

A very good edition for this futuristic adventure of Batman with a good story where we wonder who the Joker is.
NB: the German and Swedish soundtracks have some English dialogues as only the censored version was dubbed, hence the added scenes are in English.

Enjoy the Dark Knight !
