2.0 out of 5 stars Not the Official edition., 12 Aug 2012
The title says "official 1939 edition" and "from Original Sources" however this is misleading. This is nothing more than the public domain Murphy translation. It is nothing original and it is not from any original German sources. Using the words Original is clearly a ploy to make it look like the Official Nazi Edition which this is not. The murphy edition is available on the web for free so why pay for it? Someone downloaded the free version and then put it on amazon. Don't bother. It is poorly written anyway which is why Murphy's translation was abandoned by the publisher after WW2.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great book, worth reading, 12 Aug 2012
This review is from: Churchill: A Biography (Paperback)
This is a long book, but it has to be long to capture part of the greatest Englishman's life.

There is so much to learn about Churchill and his experiences both as a boy and as a soldier which were long before WW2.

I find it very inspirational to see where he came from and who he became. Coming from relative wealth did not give him any advantage as I see it.

2.0 out of 5 stars Do you research, 12 Aug 2012
Do your research and heed the reviews of this set. It is clearly made for the USA and repackaged for the UK. Everything in it is about the USA and almost no mention of the British in the War. It is mostly a report on the war read by a narrator and backed up with stock footage. If you have watched documentaries on TV, then you already know what is in it.
