4.0 out of 5 stars Excellent bit of cycling kit, 21 Nov 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Having spent money on breathable over trousers and still sweating at the slightest bit of exersion i had high hopes for these. I've now worn them a good few times and they do exactly what they are meant to and keep your thighs dry.
I Only didnt give them 5 stars due to a couple of quibbles. 1 that cant be helped is that if you wear them in anticipation of rain and it doesnt rain, you still sweat a bit on the thighs even if its cold. The other is that they could do with another strap on mid thigh as there is a tendancy for them to catch on the saddle which whilst not dangerous is annoying.

Other than that highly reccomended to anyone who sweats in normal overtrousers these are much better (and they keep you warm as well

not sure how one reviewer and the product description said it could fit any handlebars becasue it doesnt fit on my bog standard road bike handlebars. far too small
so a waste of (admittedly not much) money

3.0 out of 5 stars Sizings, 30 April 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
i have bought quite a few items from Tenn lately and whilst the quality for the price is excellent their sizings leave something to be desired. i am 12.5 st, 33-34" waist.

In theory a Large should fit which is what i ordered only to think i'd been sent a child size. i exchanged them for a XL which should be 36-38". they could still do with being a bit bigger. they seem to be made with super strength elastic not only in the waist but on the legs too. there really is no need for them to be so tight

i also find i have to go for XXL in the tops when in any other clothing i'm a L.

I guess it doesnt really matter once you get used to the sizings but why cant they be more accuarate in the 1st place to save having to pay for returns

1.0 out of 5 stars Rubbish, 28 Feb 2008

Having bought these I am sorely disappointed. I find them no better than the in ear pair I had that cost about £18

I wish I hadn't spent the £46. The improvement in sound quality is negligible and far outweighed by the fact that when I manage (after much messing about) to isolate outside noise I am left with every movement I make, when walking being transmitted through the wires to my ears. Thus meaning there is a constant background thump that is very very irritating.

I understand that this isn't peculiar to this model but all earphones of this type. How do they get away with it??

Its very fiddly to try and wear them as they suggest, over the ear, as its difficult to keep the phones in.

Why is there an extension lead? It should be just one lead because the short piece of wire is far too short to be of any use unless you are lying down resting your ipod on your chest, which funnily enough isn't my normal way of getting to and from work. This also adds to the weight which drags them out of your ears

I've only had these 2 days and have tried all the different fitments. If you don't use the sleeves that isolate noise (the point of these) then the sound is far too tinny

As its impossible to get a refund from Amazon because I opened the box (how silly of me)these will be going straight on ebay and back to my cheaper (better ones)
