1.0 out of 5 stars Poor idea., 26 Sept. 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Crazy idea. You may as well wear plastic bags on your feet. Your feet may stay dry from the rain but they will be soaked from the sweat instead. I have their gloves and that's a much more sensible idea. This is a brand stretching into areas to try and grow their revenue. Poor idea.

1.0 out of 5 stars Truly terrible camera., 16 Sept. 2011
This is the worst digital camera I've owned and I started buying digitla compacts and SLR's from almost the moment they were available. Why is it terrible? The basics. Poor pictures and terrible (absolutely terrible) battery life.

If you buy this because it's got GPS then it's an even bigger mistake. It completely destroys the battery in a matter of minutes (and I've tried two batteries so it's not the battery) and that's even if it can find a GPS signal. I've literally stood in the middle of the desert in Utah with the GPS receiver facing skyward above my head and it can't get a lock for about 10 minutes. My phone however in the same situation gets it in seconds (even with no mobile signal to supplement it).

If you are foolish enough to buy it then you'll need at least three batteries. I carry two with me (don't want to spend more money on this "device") and I've always burnt through them before the day's up. Compare that to my canon SLR and it goes days if not weeks between recharging.

Pathetic. Do not buy this.

PS It's possible a firmware upgrade could fix these problems but none are forth coming so far.
PPS I want to give this review ZERO stars but one is the minimum.

5.0 out of 5 stars Impossible to put down., 28 Oct. 2010
This is one of those books that once you start reading it you can't stop.

You want to try everything in it.

Absolute genius.

But perhaps the acid test is does it span the generations? Well my 12 year old whipped out his Flip video camera and started knocking up reverse video and he equally couldn't put it down. In fact he's been fighting his 9 year sister for it!

So I probably won't get a look in for a while.

Don't hesitate buy this book - it's a perfect Christmas present.

5.0 out of 5 stars Indispensible. Buy this book now if you're serious about brand leadership., 20 April 2010
I've read a few of David's other books and they always impress. There's no flannel with the approach he takes or the actions you are left with.

Arguably my marketing role isn't directly related to traditional brand related marketing jobs (I'm in B2B services) but the advice, ideas, tactics and strategy still make complete sense.

You don't need to waste any more time trying to figure what or how to proceed with this book you can get on and grow your market share, revenues and profits.

Don't wait. Buy. This. Book. Now.

5.0 out of 5 stars A long time coming!, 15 April 2009
A supererb book of style/genre that the market has sorely been missing. Young boys/lads love their sport and yet until now there has been nothing to cater for this interest except comics.

Thank you Geoff for coming to the rescue of Fathers everywhere - no more Enid Blyton at bedtime - hurrah!

Jamie Oliver Flavour Shaker
Jamie Oliver Flavour Shaker

1.0 out of 5 stars Awful awful awful., 25 Nov. 2007
I cannot believe Jamie Oliver has ever used one of these. It's terrible. It doesn't work. It leaks. And after a few short weeks of trying to live with it the plastic thread broke. So it went in the bin.
