1.0 out of 5 stars Power light works, but that's it, 2 April 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Tried this on two different hard drives, first one had some serious issues which meant it could no longer boot Windows. I tried this Sata-USB cable and the only result I got was the red light (indicating power) was being sent to the hard drive. Oh well probably the hard drive was beyond accessing...

Just tried the cable again on a hard drive I know to be working and got the same result.

I don't often write reviews but this cable seems to be completely hit-and-miss judging by the reviews.

3.0 out of 5 stars Doesn't pair with all Polar watches, 30 May 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Haven't used it in anger yet, but initial disappointment is based around the fact that it doesn't pair with my RS800 watch.

The product description on the Amazon site list some of the Key Features as "-Also compatible with Gym equipment & Polar heart rate monitors and training computer". This should be updated as it is misleading/incorrect.

Before you purchase this item: if you intend to pair it to both your phone and Polar watch please check the Polar website for compatibility http://www.polar.com/en/support/Compatibility_Between_Receivers_and_Transmitters

Paired immediately with my iPhone 4S, but it's pretty much redundant now as I needed it to pair to both devices.

4.0 out of 5 stars Silicone case, 14 Jan. 2008
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Fairly well designed; fits snuggly over the TomTom GO and doesn't move around much once fitted.

Only a couple of niggles:
(1) you have to take it off every time you dock the TomTom with you computer/charger
(2) there is no peak-hole to see if the unit is charging (i.e. you're using the in-car charger, so the silicone case can stay on).

4.0 out of 5 stars TomTom 520T, 13 Jan. 2008
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
As with the previous reviews, this unit is easy to use both in terms of planning a trip and the actual guidance. It locates you very quickly via the built-in quick-fix software.

The only misleading part is that you are under the impression that "Free Traffic Updates For Life" means you get automatic subscription to the PLUS Traffic service (saving ~£30/yr). This isn't the case, in the TomTom 520T box you also get a RDS-TMC traffic signal reciever. The RDS-TMC will pick up traffic information from radiostations and convert them onto the TomTom. This is the "Free Traffic Updates For Life" you're actually getting. With that said the RDS-TMC is actually fairly useful (only tried in London so-far) and highlighted several delays which the TomTom then navigated me around. How this rates against the PLUS Traffic service I don't know.
