Melissa & Doug Reusable Sticker Pad Fairies
Melissa & Doug Reusable Sticker Pad Fairies
Price: £4.99

5.0 out of 5 stars For fairy fans, 30 Aug. 2014
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
Lovely stickers and good quality design will be sure to keep the little one in your life occupied for hours. There will be lots of repositioning of stickers, lots of making up stories to go along with the picture and lots of active interest. It is larger than I expected it to be being A3 rather than the usual A4.
This set is great for developing your child's imagination, their language skills and their hand-eye coordination. It is also just simply lots of fun and will delight any child who loves fairies and stickers of course!

Melissa & Doug English Alphabet Dinosaur Colouring Pad
Melissa & Doug English Alphabet Dinosaur Colouring Pad
Price: £5.99

5.0 out of 5 stars Super-sized colouring pad, 30 Aug. 2014
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
Wow! I was not expecting this colouring pad to be so big and did I get a surprise when the even larger flat box arrived at the door. Size alone is sure to impress the kiddy lucky enough to get their little hands on it but it will be especially popular with those who love dinosaurs. Paper quality is good and the illustrations are nice. Minor niggle about the font used for the writing as it is not the standard font used in may schools to teach kids how to write but for sheer fun this is a lovely pad.

4.0 out of 5 stars Big mean cleaning machine!, 27 Aug. 2014
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
I have given this a trial run on our rugs in the house and it's amazing how well they have come up already - so much so that I must admit to feeling a little shamefaced when I emptied the tank!
I have wooden floors throughout the house, with just rugs to relieve and add warmth to the home. I didn't think they would be as messy as they were but it's amazing what can be hidden in the pile of a rug. I would actually love to take this to a friend or relative's house to give their carpets a go and see how well it would cope with a bigger surface area. I might actually give this a go on my grandparent's carpets as they have a dog and I'm sure we'd see a great difference there - just have to work out how to suggest it without causing offence! I wonder if I could get away with doing their 3 piece suite too ...
The old sofa and chairs came up well in our conservatory. They are 11 years old and needed a little bit of a clean and although not too much came off them (thank goodness), they clean definitely made the fabric brighter and seem a good few years younger. It's amazing to see the difference it can make and is actually quite therapeutic. I like using something to clean that gives you a clear result and therefore a sense of achievement.
This is a very heavy machine and will be bulky to store but if you are going to use regularly then it'll be worth the inconvenience.

5.0 out of 5 stars Lovely letters and numbers set, 27 Aug. 2014
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
These lovely Melissa and Doug letters and numbers are a perfect way for your child to get exploring. They are bright and cheerful colours which are designed to stimulate young children and are very tactile. They are made of natural materials (wood) and are larger than the usual plastic ones so you may find they take up more space on a fridge or magnetic board than the smaller plastic ones would do. However, I think that that is a bonus and will make them much easier for little hands to manipulate. Children will love to play with them and mess about. However, if you want to use them for educational purposes then you need to make time to spend with your child to help them explore in a structured way. It's a great feature that the numbers and letters come in their own separate boxes to keep them from getting mixed together. It does mean, however, that you have two smaller boxes instead of one to store but you can also make tidying a fun, educational game by sorting the letters from numbers to put in the right boxes.

4.0 out of 5 stars Stamping great fun, 27 Aug. 2014
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
Melissa and Doug make well made, good value kids toys and this little stamper set is not a disappointment. Sturdy grip for little hands and nice clear designs make these sure to be a hit with your little one. The ink pads contain washable ink, so any mishaps should be easy to clean up which is a good plus point. On the downside there are only two colours of ink which may make it a little boring but good for discussing two main primary colours.
If you have a little one in your life who loves animals or simply loves stamping to make marks on paper, then these should go down well and help keep them occupied for a little while. You can also make their use into a little game (matching etc) to make it more educational without them even knowing!

5.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful ballpoint pen, 27 Aug. 2014
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
Beautifully balanced pen, which writes to perfection, this should delight any collector of pens (like me) or anyone who needs a good looking, reliable writer for work. Waterman make lovely pens (I own one of their fountain pens) and this is no exception. It would make a lovely present - either for yourself or for someone who appreciates fine pens.

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant Boompods!, 23 Aug. 2014
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
I have always had a problem with in-ear headphones - usually because they are too large for my ears. These Boompods, however, come with 3 different sized buds so you can customise them to fit your needs. After fitting them with the smallest buds, I found they stayed in my ears with no problem and were so comfortable that I actually forgot they were there - a first for any in-ear headphones I have owned!
Moving on, they have a fantastic little in-line control which allows you to play/pause the music and adjust volume levels. Unlike other headphones that I have owned with in-line controls, this one works very well, and isn't the hit and miss affair that previous sets have been for me.
Sound quality is great. I have tried them with a range of music/audio - from pop to classical, jazz to rock, even to spoken word. They deliver clear and accurate reproduction (so old recordings will feature the pops and hissing etc), with good depth and range.
The tangle free case is innovative and seems to be working well so far. So many come with cases that are not particularly functional so this is a lovely feature.
I am mightily impressed by these Boompods and am so pleased that I decided to select them. They will certainly get plenty of use and I doubt that I will travel far without them. If you are looking for in-ear headphones that are good quality, that offer excellent sound reproduction and are exceptionally comfortable to wear then look no further!

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant Bug Tunnel, 21 Aug. 2014
This review is from: Melissa & Doug Bug Tunnel (Toy)
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
Bright and colourful, this lovely bug tunnel is sure to appeal to the little one in your life. It is a fantastic design, with a friendly bug face and is sure to be extremely popular with fans of a particularly famished caterpillar in a famous storybook.
Kids love tunnels, whether crawling through them or using them as a little hideaway space. This is such an interesting take on the usual boring tunnel design that any child would be delighted to receive it. Build quality is very good and I can see this lasting a lit longer than some pop up tents I've had in the past.
Such a lovely play tunnel that should bring hours of fun!

4.0 out of 5 stars Pricey but quality, 20 Aug. 2014
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
This is quite a pricey solar lantern but the quality of the build is superb. The Raven Wall Lantern will make a nice feature in your garden and is easy to install. I love the fact that as it is solar powered, you don't need to worry about running cables around outside to power it.
If you want something that screams quality and which should last longer than your cheap solar garden lights to be found in the many discount shops in the country, then this is for you. I would, however, count it as a considered purchase as it is expensive for just one light.

5.0 out of 5 stars Cracking little machine!, 20 Aug. 2014
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
I own two other blood pressure monitors, one of which is an Omron. Whilst they have both performed well, they are bulky and a bit fiddly to use. This little Omron RS8, however, is a revelation! I was surprised at how small it was when I opened the box and even more so when I discovered the little case it can be stored in and carried around in which would easily fit into a handbag.
Setup was quick and simple and required installation of the batteries (which are included), pressing a couple of buttons to set the date/time and then fixing to the wrist to get your reading. The great thing about it is the range of features to ensure you are using the monitor correctly, from lights to tell you if you are holding your arm too high or low to a symbol to tell you whether the cuff is secured properly. It has an irregular heartbeat warning symbol (thankfully that did not show in my reading) and you can chart your readings by linking to your PC using the NFC pad. Another bonus is the ability to monitor two people by flicking a switch from A to B at the top of the monitor.
I much prefer this to my older monitors and and can see myself using this regularly to keep track of things. If you are looking for a cracking little monitor that is easy to use, easy to store and allows you to track your readings then this is the one for you.
