4.0 out of 5 stars What a pointless language!!, 25 Oct 2002
Although i think the language is dead and i would never chosse to learn it, this book did me a big favour when it came to passing my degree and i take my hat of to Mr. Bird. Its simple and informative, starts from the bottom and works up slowly, with loads of examples and explainations about how it all work. If you've gotta learn Haskall then this is the book

OpenGL Superbible: The Complete Guide to OpenGL Programming for Windows NT and Windows 95
OpenGL Superbible: The Complete Guide to OpenGL Programming for Windows NT and Windows 95
by Richard S Wright
Edition: Paperback

5.0 out of 5 stars Easy and Informative, 25 Oct 2002
I'm not sure where these other blokes are coming from, but i've started from scatching knowing very little about computer graphics. This book is excellent, unlike other books i have read the first few chapters explain exactly what every line of code is and has given me an excellent bases to develop my graphics programming futher. I am a borland programmer and to find a book that does not base all its example on visual c is refreshing. I just wish someone would write a book similar to this but for directx.
