Poor customer service from Samsung, 23 Jun 2010
The TV was well boxed and all the parts were there and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. On switch on, there was a vertical green line on the LHS of the screen 9cm in from the side and another intermittent line on the bottom 40mm up from the bottom. I registered on the Samsung website so that i could ask a question as the web facility is meant to be manned 24/7. This was after I had tried to contact customer services just after 6pm and received a message saying that their hours were 0800 to 2000 hrs!!!! Must have knocked off early.
I finally got an answer on their website at about 11am the following day, which said, please phone us to discuss the problem.
When I phoned the recorded message said they aimed to answer all calls within 1 minute. They answered me after at least 10 minutes. They then confirmed the TV was faulty.
I have decided as their customer service is so poor that I will go with a different manufacturer.
